RECENT RESULTS
The following results have been published or updated since
the previous Newsletter:
NFD RULES
PUBLISHED
The
rules and associated FAQs for CW Field Day in June have now been published on
the CC website here.
A more detailed explanation of how the responses to last autumn’s questionnaire
contributed to the formulation of the 2013 rules will be included in next
month’s Newsletter. By the way, registrations for NFD are now being accepted at
nfd.notify@rsgbcc.org or to G3WRR (QTHR):

HADLEY
WOOD CONTEST GROUP
It
is sad to report the demise of the Hadley Wood Contest Group, which has been a
supporter of RSGB contests for a number of years – they will be missed. However
as a parting gift, HWCG have generously offered to donate a new trophy – to be
called the Hadley Wood Contest Group Trophy – to the RSGB, to be awarded
annually to the winner of the AFS Superleague. This kind offer has been
gratefully accepted.
70MHZ
UKAC ON 31ST DECEMBER 2013
A limited number of replies were received following the consultation in last month’s Newsletter. The overwhelming response was in favour of cancelling the event that falls on New Year’s Eve. This year there will therefore be a total of four events (January, April, July and October). The overall scores will be determined from the best three events, rather than four as previously envisaged.
HF CHAMPIONSHIP
Readers are reminded that the RSGB HF Championship runs from February to November each year. Although the first of this year’s contributing contests has now passed, a further five remain: these, together with the other HF Championship rules, are documented here. No specific action is needed to submit entries, as scores from the contributing contests are totalled automatically by the CC. However entrants hoping to win the G2QT Trophy – awarded annually to the overall winner – may wish to make sure that the dates of the remaining events are in their diaries!
That’s all for this month – as always, comments are welcome to editor@rsgbcc.org .
73 and good contesting.
