I2AT: poor activity on 80 meters but enough multipliers on 10 meters in spite of the moody propagation.
I2WIJ: After 3 IOTA in a raw: J49WI, J45W, J49R, I tried this one from home with the same equipment: it's quite a different story to be on the wrong side! I enjoyed this contest anyway. CU next year!
I7PXV: I ENJOIED VY MUCH IN THE CONTEST
IB0/IZ0BVU: My first IOTA: very nice
IK0HIT: Surprised at the number of islands on the air
IK2QPO: This year I operate from my Italian QTH with my Italian call IK2QPO. Last year I worked from Switzerland with my Swiss call HB9FBI. Tnx for having sent me the floppy with the SDI program.
IK2QPR: Limited time for me but good contest with many islands activated.
IK2RLS/5: happy to enter again in the contest!
IK2SFQ: THIS CONTEST IS "VERY HARD" FOR ME...HI!
IN3XUG: A beautiful weekend, ending with a barbecue. Some problems with the 28/21/14 antenna. It was a wonderful atmosphere of ham friendship. Hope to be a serious participant next year!
IS0JMA: Very good contest
IT9ORA: I AM VERY GLAD TO MEET MANY FRIEND'S IN THIS CONTEST ON CW. I HOPE TO MEET AGAIN IN NEXT IOTA TEST 73 FROM GIANNI IT9ORA
IV3WMS: Pretty nice contest
IZ2ABZ: Beautiful contest
IZ8AJQ: I worked many new IOTAs. IOTA is one of my preferred contests. I hope next year to operate from an island.
IZ8AJQ: WORKED MANY IOTA NEW ONE IOTA IS ONE OF MY PREFERRED CONTEST I HOPE NEXT YEAR TO OPERATE FROM AN ISLAND
JA1BNW: I could not hear any European stations on 10m, so conditions seem to be going down compared to this period last year. But I had an enjoyable time working IOTA stations on 15 and 20m, mainly on CW.
JA6SRB: Thanks nice SDI logging software! Very good to use!
JA9SCB/1: Bad propagation this year.
JH3AIU: I got some new IOTA expedition stns especially in EU within 12 hrs. I'd like to work more NA & SA IOTA stns 24 hrs continuously next year.
JR4QZH: Good condition on 20m between EU and JA at our midnight. I really enjoy the pile up from EU.
K4EP/P: Conditions seemed down this year, although good activity from US. Severe thunderstorm in the evening cost me prime time to EU.
K5M: Dear Contest Manager, Though I'm sure you've heard all the stories in the world, we have ours. This was our first time out as a group in a contest and on a mini DXpedition. It was great. In reviewing the logs, we noticed for sure 2 stations that did not give us their IOTA designator because we checked the logs against the RSGB released contest stations and the IOTA they operated from. In our case alone, when our multipliers became worth over 10,000 points each, this action becomes devastating to us much less other stations that had much higher scores/multipliers. All in all we had a great time and hope to improve our efforts greatly next year. We hope "Murphy" will be able to find us next year. Cheers & Beers... The Rookies... K5CWR, KS5V, N5VYS
K5ZD: Amazing the pileups some of the island stations are able to enjoy!
K6ACZ: Very poor conditions for my QTH this year. I didn't hear many stations calling CQ IOTA Contest. Most that I heard I did work. Thanks for a very enjoyable contest. Thanks to those stations who worked hard to hear me answer them.
K6OWL: Very bad propagation here! Seemingly blocked in all directions! Tnx for sponsoring contest!
KC9AZL: I had trouble making QSOs due to bad conditions. Hope to have better propagation next year.
KE7UI: My first IOTA contest. Had a great time
KG9N/KH6: 20 Watts. Had trouble getting station up. Wish I could have worked more.
KJ9C: Just for fun, handed out a few cheap QSOs
KL7XL: This was my first contest, and I will be back next year! Lousy band conditions, nice operators, but fun anyway.
KP2/AA1BU: Having no airport St. John the least developed of the USVI is accessed via private boat or ferry. IOTA 'Test was a "Field Day Style" operation within the National Park on a ridge top overlooking both the Atlantic and Caribbean Ocean. JPEG's of ant etc are available.
LU5BB: Congratulations fb Contest! 73 LU5BB Tony
LU7DW: As I couldn't travel to SA-055, so I operated a few hours from home. I hope to work the IOTA contest 2003 from some IOTA reference, is better to be on the other side of the pile-up.
LY1DR: Just tested old Ten-Tec Paragon (TNX LY2CY).
LZ1KSL: This time Mother Nature plays "Seek and destroy" by METALICA. Never before had so bad weather there in summer. When we arrived at island and set up the stations, there was a little shower. Early on Saturday a storm started, with lightning and strong wind. The PacketCluster on shore side was completely out due to a lightning strike. During contest we had great QRN on low bands (sorry for bad ears). In fact only LW's broken twice, but restored rapidly. Anyway we had a great time there, and surely will be back next year. Special thanks to Giorgio, LZ1CGM and all the crew for fine job.
LZ1PJ: Nice contest with bad propagation at my QTH. My target was 1,000,000 points and I missed it just because of the 2+ rest hours I took. Before the contest I had slept just 2 hrs after a night shift at job. So far not a bad result with barefoot rig and NO cluster spots.
M0AJT: The choice was IOTA contest or enjoy very rare hot
summer weekend. Beers and barbecue won.
M0BAO/P: GOOD WX DURING CONTEST BUT BAND CONDITIONS SEEMED POOR
M0BWY: Conditions were appalling; after a week of solar storms the bands just wouldn’t open up, with stateside just not appearing. All in all, hard work.
M0DDT: Must get a younger rig than the Uniden 2020!
M0GEB: First IOTA Contest. Very enjoyable.
M2C: Not fantastic conditions early on. However, great fun! Our first try with a two-transmitter set-up. We have a lot to learn!
M3AEU: First dabble at a serious HF contest - just a little.
M3OKU: First time as an operator. It's easier as an SWL. Will be back next year.
M3S: Used as a training exercise for our new M3 club members. 1000MP died and computer crashed!
M5BFL/P: Where were the JAs and Pacific? Excellent operating quality from all stns worked.
M5Q: Great contest, sunny weather brought lots of visitors to shack (in grounds of Herstmonceux Science Centre) lots of interest in hobby generated, shame we missed the Multipliers whilst talking to the public, otherwise we would have come first, hi hi!
MM/PA0INA: Had much fun and will go again next time.
MM0BQI: Great fun as always but conditions made it painful and slow going. However there is always next year for more fun. Please keep the LP island DXpedition sections.
MM0CWJ: My first attempt at contesting.
MM5PSL: First time entry. Thought for a while the logs were lost at the 11th hour when computer crashed. Thoroughly enjoyed it, learned a lot and should do better next year.
N0AX: Conditions quite poor from this part of the world, but glad to hand out NA-065 for a few contacts.
N0YYO: Great fun despite poor propagation.
N4AF: Fairly good condx. Very pleased to see 80m in such good shape after being battered all day by torrential storms and QRN.
N4C: Band conditions were fair at best from NA067 (Core Banks). A violent windstorm the night before the event took down antennas and broke our homebrew vertical, but somehow we got back on the air in time. We hope our operation helped out by putting NA067 on the air for this event. The "second transmitter" rule for multi/single island stations created very a difficult logging situation for us, as our logging computers were not networked.
N4UH: Seemed to be more island stations than landlocked. That is good!
N6VR: Condx poor, very light opening to EU. Some computer problems running NA.
N7MQ/VE7: Terrible propagation but great fun. CU next year from another island
N7XY: Propagation was poor; atmospheric noise was very high.
OH2-836: Conditions were poor on 28MHz and 3.5MHz here just 500 miles south of the North Pole.
OH5PA: Quite busy weekend but pleased to make a few QSOs. Thanks for IOTA 2001 Contest booklet and floppy disk, both are very much appreciated, excellent service.
OH6BG: Upper bands were difficult with my simple dipole set-up; however, on lower bands, I did manage to get some points. Thanks for everybody for the QSOs!
OH6NJ: Nice condx during contest. Worked only 12 hours from the beginning, but it seemed to be a nice solution for this weekend. Maybe this contest is much more enjoyable while you are on IOTA-island, so I have to think about the future and try to find my way there also. Thanks to RSGB and all involved.
OH9A: Actually the decision to participate was made only 2 weeks before the contest because of WRTC 2002 activities. OH1MDR and OH1MM formed Finland's team and OH1NOA was very much involved in the WRTC organisation. Finally OH1NOA had to cancel his participation this year. As a new member we had Juho, OH1LLM in our team. Anyway we had great time again and the pileups were very hectic at times. Conditions were not so good as last year and we were not able to reach our last year's World record score over 12 millions points. 10 meters was very marginal this time and we could not get any runs going there. The biggest improvement compared to last year was the logging. This time we used Writelog software and we didn't have any problems with the computers during the whole contest! Even though one of the two PCs was a very old and slow 60MHz Pentium.
OK1JN: Nice contest, propagation poor.
OK1TFH: Thanks you for send to me diskette where was software SDI-SDJ and results IOTA contest 2001.This contest is for me best from all the World.
OK2SWD: Very good Contest and many perfect IOTA stations, but some didn’t give their own call for a long time. That is bad for S & P operators.
OK6A: It was very nice contest. My first IOTA contest.
OL4M: Prima contest OMs, age hr 75. Cuagn!
ON5ZO: IOTA might be more fun when you're on an island! Maybe next year?
ONL-383 Ask all stations to give their callsign more often. Very bad practice by a lot of the operators.
OX3HX: Vy poor condx all over - 10m closed 15m almost closed - 20m only Big Guns readable - but it gave me lots of Multipliers. about 40% of all Contacts - in fact better result as last year points vs. Contacts taken as calculation - CU next year
OX3LG: Very bad conditions
OY1CT: My first IOTA contest, had a lot of fun, like the 12 hours format.
OZ/DL2JRM/P: It was fun to work with QRP and Windom in the contest. Powered by solar and 60Ah-Accu.
OZ1ACB: My rotor broke down after 68 QSOs leaving antenna at 330 degrees.
OZ1DYI/P: Only Solar Cell - No electricity in my summer cottage. Conditions not very good.
OZ8AE: This contest seems to attract more and more amateurs from all over the world. The holiday season is great for travelling to different Islands. I will take certainly part in many more IOTA contests. Using an ICOM IC-746 with max 100 watts output into a TH3-MK4 at 11 meters, a 43 meter vertical loop for 40-10 meters. An inverted L-antenna for 160/80 Meters, elevated and with 6 tuned radials.
P3F: My plan to submit an entry under the 24 hour CW section was well and truly thwarted due to a persistent S9+ noise level on 20/15 &10m bands caused by a rogue insulator on my local 11kV feed. The offending piece of hardware tracked away happily throughout the whole weekend. After 12 hours of wading in my noise soup I threw in the towel and took myself and my headache off to bed. If I'd planned a 12-hour entry I would have focused more on mult hunting early on. As it is my multiplier tally is, to be polite, lacklustre! The good news is that the power company say they will fix the problem. The bad news is they won't say when...only that to repair it will require power to the whole village to be switched off and that will only happen when something more important needs to be done! Oh well.....
PA3AFF: It was quite a job to use computer logging for the first time.
PA0FEI: The very large serial numbers that were exchanged showed a lot of activity. The temperature in my shack was about 40C; therefore I found it too hot to participate very active.
PA0MIR: Search and pounce gets harder and harder now that many stations do not regularly give their callsigns. Had stations where you had to wait more than 10 minutes. There should be a condition in the contest rules that the callsign should be given in every exchange!
PA0RRS: Conditions not very good with a simple antenna and low power
PA1DV: It was great fun to participate in this contest. Next year I hope to be there for a longer period.
PA1PAT: Very nice contest. I took part for the first time but next year I'll be there again.
PA2JJB: Again it was lots of fun to participate in this nice and friendly contest. Tested my new dipoles and they seem to work ok to all the different parts of the world. Many success with checking all those logs from all over the world!
PA3BFH: Was great fun. As usual could not participate during the whole contest but enjoyed all the time I was on the air. Thanks for organising! See you next year! Have fun with the logs!
PA3GZC: Prefer being on an island: 30 degrees. in my shack! Thanks for organising and checking.
PA6TEX: Many thanks to GB Antenna's Holland for lending us 2 Quads. Conditions were very bad and openings sometimes short. US and JA openings were poor, but WX was very good and we had fun.
PA9ZZ/P: Great contest with lots of island activity!
PB7JOS: This was my first contest.
PI4HQ: We all had a ball. It is by far the best event in the summer and comes at a moment at which most people have either holidays or time to spent with friends at a remote place. We did it for the second time now and it was a wonderful experience again. It takes a lot of time preparing and building up from scratch but it is so rewarding that the only thing I heard among the crew was to do it again next year.
PJ2Y: The terrible conditions on the HF bands this year made it even more difficult to compete so far away from the centre of activity in Europe. 10 meters produced just 3 QSOs, which is pretty poor when you have a stack of 5 element monobanders to use. 15 meters was fairly quiet early on, but picked up later. Luckily 20m and 40m managed to sustain reasonable run rates. 80 meters produced just 19 QSOs from the 3-element delta loop; just too much QRN at 12°N. Being in the tropics does have its compensations though. Everyone on the team had a great time topping up the suntan, and working our own personal pileups outside the contest.
PY8AZT/P: Great contest but poor propagation on high bands.
RA0FF: My favourite contest. Regrettably, in 2002 conditions were very bad and which prevented us from achieving a good result. Few Asiatic stations are active in these contests. Perhaps it would be possible to have some sort of trophy for Asia?
RA3XO: IOTA Contest points system and 12 hours category make great field for strategy development. Despite the poor conditions on 10 m and very hot weather it was nice hunting.
RA6AR: Conditions not too good but I was lucky to work 5 new IOTA numbers.
RV6AB: This year a bigger activity and a worse condx. Just searched for new counters. More than 10 NEW! Cu next year.
RW1AC/1: Thank you for super contest. See you next year from IOTA island, maybe EU 133.
RW3XZ: Thank you for enjoyable contest! See you next year!
SK2KW: Here comes the IOTA log from SK2KW EU-135.We arrived to the Island on Friday evening and Peter SM2ODB was all wet due to heavy waves on the water due to winds. But EQ OK waterproof....Started so set up antennas, but had to stop because of thunderstorm at 2000 local time but luckily it was over after one hour, so we took the fishing rod in our hands again and our fortune was that the heavy wind gone into a silence after the thunder...dipoles were up! Started contest with quite good conditions but was harder later. Peter (SSB-op) complained that it was hard to get a run going on SSB. I (Per SM2LIY -CW op) did not complain about conditions for CW, EU came through....but not much more. At the end Peter got a good run on 20m SSB and we also got some DX mults on 15CW in the log. Great fun on all bands excluding 10m which was a disaster up in the north. Home trip was a bit dangerous in the heavy wind (-Peter wet again). But we managed to reach the mainland safely. The hard wind saved us from mosquitoes anyway....Afterward came the interesting time-consuming typing into N6TR. We discovered about 7 multipliers that we forgot to note in our mult sheets. It was an adventure working portable under these conditions! 73s Per SM2LIY and Peter SM2ODB.
SM5ARL: Worst conditions for many years.
SM5PAX: Here is the log from the 2002 IOTA contest. I was not prepared for electrical connection problems with my antenna, so the result was not impressive. But thank you for the contest!
SN6F/1: Still very exciting contest. Fighting with hardware problems, RFI, having most of the time only 180V in power line - that's all 400 km away from home. 1 hour before start dead TX in one transceiver – enough for one contest. Propagation below normal however big activity from islands. Looking for next year? Who knows?
SP3FAR: NICE CONTEST.THANKS OMs FOR NEW IOTA!
SP3GTS: Very nice contest, but poor conditions.
SP6AOI: No comments HI! because my numerous family was visiting me! Tnx for IOTA Contest 2001 Results and contest program.
SP7TEX: Thanks for good contest
SV1XV: I entered the contest to check some station modifications
and add a few new islands to my total. Propagation on 10 metres
was poor and 15 metres was not very good either. Propagation
on 40 and 20 metres was very good and I logged 7 new islands
(6xEU, 1xNA).
SV8DTP: As expected the bad weather conditions (summer storms) didn't help my small set-up to perform as wanted. I managed to break the 100k point barrier and I am happy just for that. Great contest in anyway. Hope I can make it next year with a better set-up. Well done to everyone.
T94JS: It was pleasure to participate in IOTA contest. Although I have no ambition to have result because it is modest, I have sent you my contest log. Happy to work more than a dozen new islands. I wish you all the best.
UA0IV: Not good antennas. Tnx for this contest.
UA1CEC: It was my 3rd IOTA contest. I enjoyed it greatly. I am 17 years old. Will meet again next year.
UA6JD: Good Contest - but many Islands DXpedition asking "QRZ Islands ONLY".
UA6NZ: At first time I take part in IOTA Contest and was very enjoy, but wrkg with 60-70 watts is very hard and SSB reply for me on 28MHz only. In next Contest need QRO HI-HI!
UA9CGL: Thanks for the Contest!
UR5FCM: Thanks for the nice contest! But at end of contest my TX not keying hi ... Between 10:00 and 11:30 I repair my rig. So, I have new one in IOTA Isl. & new Country's 73 and GL!
US7IGF: Very nice and interesting contest and not simple for stations not on an IOTA island. May be next year I will work the contest from some island Hi-Hi. By the way, in contest there were not many stations from the UK.
UY5LQ: Tnx for nice contest! 73!
UY5ZZ: Thanks for FB contest and 24 NEW ONE islands IOTA program...
UY7C: The beautiful IOTA contest is really hard work for non-islands stations. This year I worked 99% in S&P mode, but with my small power and only one antenna (delta loop 80m) making QSOs with DX stations is very difficult. Not many stations were on 80m, 40 & 20 m was beautiful, on 15 m was not good propagation. 10 m is not supported by my super transceiver 1973 y.m., hi...P.S. Vy thanks for the book with results 2001 and flop with EI5DI programs. Sorry, but I using N6TR logger because it has an eligible CW interface for my HM transceiver. MANY THANKS AND HOPE TO SEE YOU IN 2003!!
VA3XRZ: Thanks for sponsoring this fine contest.
VE1JS: This is tough going when one does not have the benefit of an IOTA Reference to attract customers! I'll be on an island again next year. Still the best contest for all round fun.
VE2OWL: This was my first island expedition and it was fun operating while camping with the family (wife and 2 kids: 7 and 4 years old) 300 km away from home. It was kind of a field day style set-up. I'll ask my wife again because she was the one climbing the trees!
VE3KZ: QSB and QRN! What a combination! I don't recall having this much copy trouble in a contest before. Lots of "now you hear them now you don't" going on. My hats off to the QRP ops in this one! I hope I actually worked a decent proportion of those that called. The daily SSN was up to 320 but with the high K index, we were in for trouble. I was in the same entry category last year and the first hour previewed the conditions, 48 QSOs on 20m vs. 115 QSOs on 15m in 2001! 15m was dead at 12z. Missing in action: OC, 10m and almost AF except that EA8ZE was one of my 4 QSOs on 80m! Go figure. The QSB knocked out pieces of calls and serial numbers on all bands. The QRN was epidemic on 40 and 80. I went QRT at 04z with 12 hours in the log and was thankful to leave the low bands. A monster thunderstorm struck about an hour later. Not a big surprise! Europe was of course where the multipliers were, EU 64, NA 33, SA 7, AS 6, AF 1. NA Island activity seemed to be up. With conditions as they were, single hop to portable stations was much easier than trans-Atlantic to the same. (Yes, it takes more than one hop to VE3!) Thanks again to the organisers. Now we just have to make World participation more interesting for us "Big Island" people. How about EU-000, NA-000, AS-000 and AF-000? Just for the contest?
VE7ASK Great contest, but the worst radio conditions I've seen in ages. Dead flat bands with only the strongest of close-in signals heard for much of the time. PCA-like conditions hurt the score a lot and made it hard to stick with the radio for long -- decided early on that even a 12-hour run would be agony. Special thanks to the fantastic ops at 5K0Z and CO2JD for hanging in there to get my call (both on 40M), and congrats to N6HR/VE7 for holding such a strong signal from the Queen Charlotte Islands.
VE9W: We (Montreal's West Island ARC) have been operating in the IOTA contest as a multi-op island operation for 6 years now, and we continue to enjoy both the challenge and the beautiful island locations (Charlton Is. NWT, Pictou Is. NS, Fogo Is. NF, St. Paul Is. NS, Seal Is. NS, and Whitehead Is. NB), as well as the great competition and DXing of the contest. The bad news this year: quite poor propagation to Europe and the west, with virtually nothing on 10m and spotty on 15m, leaving little but 20m with lots of QSB much of the time. Even North America's 6-7 land was poor! The good news: we enjoyed the hospitality of the great people of Whitehead Is. (pop. 120) and the comforts of their 1-room schoolhouse and sardine boat. Better yet: we've finally got a networked logging program to work properly for efficient mult station operation! Every year we do a little bit better, but every year we make mistakes and see ways to improve. Great contest!
VK1JDX: My second year at the IOTA Contest, one I am beginning to enjoy immensely. Propagation marginal, but it resulted in new islands and countries for me!
VK6NU: Very enjoyable contest as usual
VO1TA: Very difficult to stay at the rig when the wx is a very nice 25c and sunny. As you may know, our summers are very short.
VU2UR: This is the first time I am sending my entry to IOTA contest. I had taken part in the earlier contest, but not seriously. After achieving the IOTA 100 Islands of the World award, there was greater interest to take part and work new Islands. I did get some new islands. I am proceeding towards the 200 mark slowly. I enjoyed the contest.
W1FJ: LOTS OF FUN. NOT ENOUGH TIME TO REALLY ENJOY. MAYBE MORE TIME NEXT YEAR WHEN RETIRED
W3TN: very poor propagation on 20 and 15 on Sat; better Sunday very little heard from Asia or Africa.
W4/LZ3SM: Even under bad weather, thunderstorms and insects we had a great time on the island. We want to thank Shirley's BayView for accommodating us.
W4HY: We never got an opening to Asia .We didn't get much sleep We did get lots of mosquito bites setting up and breaking down
W6IXP: Great contest - really enjoyed having a legal entry as Multi Op since that's what we do anyway...
WA4JA/P: Access to Shell Island is not restricted, except for the western edge, which is controlled by the US Air Force. Most of the island is part of the Florida State Parks system. The state parks prohibit island camping. Night access is strongly discouraged by the park, however. There are a large number of Florida Diamondback Rattlesnakes that populate this uninhabited island. They are very active at night as they feed on a resident population of mice which are kept in check by the rattlers. The park also advises against venturing off a small path between the bay and a pavilion on the Gulf side during daylight to avoid contact with the dozing rattlers that often reach over 2.5 meters in length. If a human is bitten, the nearest hospital is over an hour’s boat and ambulance ride, or requires the use of a Medivac helicopter.
WA6PXU: First time in IOTA. Had a great time!
WB2YQH: Horrible conditions but still fun. Did not hear the Asia IOTAs needed for new ones. Some poor ops out there who don't identify and just call "QRZ".
WB6NFO: 10m even poorer than last year! No activity on 40/75. 15 and 20 were quite good at times. Signals keep fading in/out. Good contest – good way to get island activity and band activity.
WL7O: No band opened until dusk and then really only 20 M. At night I worried about moose getting tangled in the antennas and watching the TS-850 bounce off, attached by the coax.
WN6K: I used the Telnet connection during the contest but really didn't find it all that 'full of information' that one can find by walking the bands. Guess that is a 'function' of how busy a contest it is too.
WP3GW: Power supply broke down, had to help clean the house, much rain and poor band conditions but 20 meters was the band to be! I did what I could anyway and till the next one . . . .
WW4LL: Lots of fun. A bigger and better effort next year. No solar flares next year please!
YC3MM/5: Rain Rain Rain! After 1 year I waited this moment, finally is heavy rain here. Please God, give us good weather next year.
YC4FIJ: This year’s contest was much better for me than last year. Great contest, everyone enjoyed it very much. Thanks to EI5DI for the software but I’m sorry I’m still using paper log because no computer. See you next year, wishes from Belitung Island (OC-144) to all contesters; thanks everybody for the QSOs!
YO5CRQ: I made this contest more seriously then last year’s... but I lost many points due to 2 factors - the very poor propagation on 10m and leaving out 40m because my antenna didn't want to resonate there... My object is to improve it for the next year. So my points are about 10% less than last year. Anyway, very nice contest, see you in 2003!
YO6AJI: Tnx to Bob G3PJT for the e-mail with info on RSGB contests for summer 2002!
YO7BGA: FIRST IOTA CONTEST AFTER 32YEARS OF RADIO
YV7QP: Bad conditions on 10 meter band and poor on other bands.
YZ1SG: Thank You for making a new low power category. It was really hard to compete with those high power stations, especially in pile-ups on SSB. The weather was terrible before and during the contest and helped me in my decision to stay by radio 24 hours but prevented me to climb a tree and raise a bit my dipoles which was only 30cm from the roof at some places. See You next year, 73!
ZX7XX: A great contest. Lot of fun
