G3WGV
Excellent conditions but not quite enough stations on
to keep
the momentum to the end.
G3WYW
Strategy worked better this time! Band seemed to go
a 'bit funny' around 2045 for a while with long echos
on some signals making them very difficult to
understand. Hi's - being called by some DX UY3UA
on 80M. Lo's missing Pat G3VA! Roll on the next one.
G3WZT
TX/RX ICOM IC756 PRO running 100W
Remotely tuned 185 Foot Inverted L
Very good contest. Just about the right length, great
fun !
Conditions reasonable and fair activity.
G3XSV
Thought I would try the QRP section for a change.
But maybe it wasn't such a smart move as the score
was lower than I'd hoped.
G3XTT
Struggled a bit - heard at least 10 participants
who I never worked. How can we miss each other in
just 30kHz!!
G3ZBU
the antenna was reflecting some power for some
inexplicable reason. Could be UFOs maybe!
G3ZHE
Rig 756pro ant. 136ft doublet, pwr 100w.
Condx good heard GM & GU
Paper log sorry about the dupes. 46qsos , 5 dupes
G3ZRJ
First attempt using this borrowed Scout ugggghhhhhhh
lotsa backlash on tuning lotsa overload
Never mind lotsa fun had too
Amazed by the 100ish scores where to they find all
the stations ?
G4BCA
Conditions not as good as last time.
G4DBW
Conditions poor - S9 noise level
With my QRP and such high QRN reduced to 'search and
pounce' throughout contest
Activity dropped off after 2100z
G4DDX
found band noisy and not able to read some weak stns
enjoyed as usual
G4EOF
Yet again in a word -- BRILLIANT.
G4FPH
I Don't do CW contests as a rule but this was fun!
G4IIY
Good condx - Very quiet run frequency
no QRM and a noise level that did not register
on the meter. Seemed to dry up a bit towards
the end. Thought I was on for over 100 this time.
G4OGB
GETS BETTER!!
G4SJM/P
Not so good tonight

SOAPBOX:
G0DAY
I am no good at CW, but this evening was most enjoyable.
now awaiting the SSB leg. CU there...
G0HFX
Just a short spell, QRP using a 20m dipole !
G0MRH
Band conditions fairly good for me but appeared
to be less on.
Local QRM restricted the bandwidth to about half.
G0OKF
Condx seemed quite good
G0RAF
ANOTHER LAUGH-A-MINUTE WITH A GOOD
STANDARD OF MORSE AND OK CONDITIONS
G0TPH
I must remember to turn the power up next time,
though pleasing to see what 500mW can work.
G0VQR
I had a bug in the Super Duper logger. I should have
checked it before the contest.
G3CWI
Slow session here. No excuses though.
G3GLL
Band conditions not very good
Heard only one GM station
G3HRH
The QRS corral was quiet but plenty of activity else
-where with consistently good signals. Some EU signals
and even some Gs did not appear to realise that a cont-
est was in progress. Pleased that so many QRQ contest-
ants were prepared to QRS for those who struggle a bit.
G3IZD
BAND SURPRISINGLY CLEAR OF QRN AND NOISE IN

LOCATED OUTSIDE ST MARY'S CHURCH STAINES
G3NFB
Another satisfying session
G3NKS
Interrupted by two long phone calls!
G3ORY
With 20 minutes to go before the start all the lights
went out as a power cut started. The mains came back
on at 2017 so I had a somewhat delayed start.
G3RIR
Amazed how lively the contest was
FT1000MP 100W to low dipole
G3RSD
Very high noise level in last 20 Minutes
G3SET
GOOD CONTEST
CONDITIONS GOOD
THANKS FOR ORGANIZING CONTEST
G3SXE
Only problems with SD generating the Cabrillo Log!!
G3TKF
Noisey band
G3UFY
Condx really good and for once the local noise stayed
away. Great little event, just like AFS but without
the QRM!
G4TSH
10 w to Butternut HF6V. Quite hard work,
many people not hearing me too well or at all!
G6FOP
Ran QRP this time.
GU0SUP
Just for the fun, and to keep GARS in the tables!
GW3KDB
Conditions must have been good as the Lichfield gang
went up to ssb
for a chat and were called by EA8/ON7TL/M
FT1000FT and doublet at 45 ft.
GW3PRL
Enjoyed. Are the numbers falling off?
GW4ALG
I increased the number of QSOs from 64 in the previous
session to 81 in this session. This was achieved by
doing more CQing. However, I am still learning to use
computer logging, and I got flustered many times -
especially during the several pile-ups that resulted
from my CQ calls. Many must have wondered what on
earth was going on at my end. All I can do is
apologise for any inconvenience. However, I do
intend to get better at this!
Meanwhile, thanks for your patience while this keen
homebrewer attempts to become a competent pile-up
operator. Recommendations for good computer
logging/rig keying software would be appreciated
(steve[at]alg.demon.co.uk).
Rig: Homemade transceiver Power: 5 watts RF
Antenna: Inverted V Doublet.
GW4LZP
Conditions seemed very good - my best ever.
M0CMQ
at 20:00 hours... Will my 80m vertical do well?
at 21:28 hours... condx better here in London
tonight 10 March. So ok.
However there appears to be some
difficulty in reading my call...
it's one of the newer ones following the older G series!
M0MAT
Had a few problems, hopefully before the next one plenty
of
preparation will prevent particularly poor performance.
M0TTT
Great Fun contest.
M5ALG
A good one for me more QSO than usual
