SOAPBOX:
2E0ATY
hard going a lot of european qrm
2E0BJM
lots of static & qrm locally but a bit better than
last time
2E1GUA
lot's of QRM on the band.
but good fun.
2U0GSY
Heavy static QRM tonight
G0AOJ
Conditions were very good
Enjoyed it a lot
G0EUN
NOISY WITH LOTS OF QRM
G0ICJ
SD WORKED EXTREEMLY WELL AND SIMPLE TO USE
G0IIQ
very noisy conditions tonight
G0JLF
Noisy tonight! Lots of static crashes.Only 40 minutes
on tonght
G0KPZ
Band conditions were good but there seemed to be less
people active
G0KYS
Chose a bad fequency - either nobody could hear me or
I couldn't hear them! Gave up eventually but didn't
find another 'clear' one until about 15min before the
end. Finally got going then but too late. These
contests are fun but frustrating - just too many people
G0MRH
The whole band appeared to be full again
Lots of contacts going to the regulars!
G0RAF
20dbs over 9 QRN. A large Wine & Beer was essential
post contest!
G0RKT
Late start but non stop
Too warm to be in shack
G0VGS
lots of noise on band static crashes et al.
Great evening though.
G3HRH
Busy but surprisingly little QRN in this area
PLEASE don't just call QRZ with out a callsign
It makes S&P more time consuming
G3LDI
Activity is increasing on SSB, now for CW and RTTY!!
G3LHJ
Summer static about this time added to the usual QRM
made it hard going - but nice to meet old pals
again and had fun.
G3LIK
Lots of QRN from thunder storms made copy difficult
Not my favourite mode but nice to hear some familiar
calls in the log
G3NDJ
qrm
yes
G3NKC
Great freq for start of test; and I appeared to be able
to hold it ok.
However QSO's were hard to come by,
I don't know where some of teh top guys were finding
their QSO's from !
Some signals seemed considerably louder than the majority....
G3NPF
Not so much QRM this month. Perhaps more people were
on holiday? Really quite enjoyable for a contest!
Nice to hear several M3 and 2E callsigns being used
by
operators who obviously knew how to do it.
G3TKF
What a lot of noise ! I should have stayed in the garden.
G3VIP
RIG FT301S 7W - ANTENNA 40M LW - HOMEBREW LOGGER
ROUGH CONDITIONS SOME VERY WIDE SIGNALS
G3VQO
QRN not too bad here, but I know others were struggling.
In such conditions, why do people use non-standard
phonetics and say "twelve" instead of "zero-one-two"?
I forecast a lot of lost points tonight!!!
G3VYE
late start due to aerial problems - then much QRM/QRN
so low score but enjoyed it.
G3XSV
hard work this time... very noisy.
G3YEC
cONDITIONS
QRN Plus towards end levels had dropped but still bad.
Nice to hear so many CW operators on !!!!!
G3YHV
Made my ears all sweaty!
G3ZGC
I let the xyl M3 ZGC have a go under her callsign hence
the lower score this time.
G3NFB QSO is void.
G4AIU
Started off OK with the Long Wire but then the rig showed
a very high SWR.
Switched to the G5RV/2 and it did exactly the same -
but the rig shut down.
So did I!
The QRN was very severe in Wellington for the full 90
minutes.
G4ARN/P
lots of static on the band this time
making qso's difficult
once again may i suggest that the contest is run at
local time i.e. 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm local time
from start in January to end in July
G4DBX
Vy heavy QRM and QRN.
G4EBK
Found it a struggle this time with QRN
and deep QSB. Last half hour very poor.
G4EOF
Interesting static crashes - VERY QUIET SIGNALS TONIGHT.
G4FCN
Busy but very noisy. Very heavy static crashes
G4FON
Appauling conditions and even worse deliberate jamming...
G4FPH
Thanks to all the SSTV folks!
G4GZB
Disregard qso's #16 & 45
G4JRY
SOME BIG BIG BIG SIGNALS !!!
G4KNO
First attempt at SO2V with the new Orion. Successful,
but you need
that run frequency from the start - I couldn't manage
that this time.
Antenna: 132ft Windom, feed @30ft, ends at 10ft.
G4OGB
Very Noisy!!
G4RCD
Enjoyed it but QRM was bad at times.
G4TPH
SLOW START, MUCH QRN, ELECTRICAL, BUT AT LEAST I MADE
A FEW FOR THE CLUB
G4VSS
Great contest again loads of QRN whats my sn whats ur
call in fact qrz.
M3TBK
High QRM & QRN tonight, very severe in last half
hour
FT1000 at 10w, ant dipole at 70 ft.
M3ZGC
Using same set up as G3ZGC my husband.
MM0DQQ
Contest well supported tonight but high qrn levels gave
problems.
MW5HOC
After month of trying to make a single contact
My mobile whip dipole finnaly got me some entries
in the log :) |
