G4OGB
Very noisy
G4PIQ/P
They say don't work with animals or children. I can
confirm the latter don't mix with contesting. Another
last minute choice to do the event, but I was looking
after daughter. Bang on 20:00 she startedscreaming....
SSB always hard from the little station, but think I
spent too long CQing on a bad frequency because I thought
that was as good as I was going to get. Had some other
disruptions as well so about 1hr 10 mins proper operating,
but should have done better FT1000MP, 100W, 25m end
fed sloping from 5m to 2m agl.
G4RCD
QRM was very bad tonight. Very hard to hold
a frequency. Overall very tough going.
G4RCG
Picked a bad frequency when I started it was clear
then within minutes I was clobbered by a commercial
RTTY station and had to move which meant S&P for
30 min
so my rate dropped dramatically picked it back up once
I found a run qrg Still enjoyed it as usual
G4WGE
These contests seem to be a cue for the phone to ring!

Nice contest very enjoyable as usual
2E0TLB
Tough going.Good fun as always
2M0GPZ
Signals were huge everywhere but I never managed to
find a run frequency. Was able to contact everybody
I heard pretty easily. The 990 needs some filters. I
eagerly await my Inrad 2.0 filter to see if it'll cut
out some smash. Overall enjoyed the contest.
2M0IVG
easy to use
simple to follow
2M0KDZ
Phew, that was hard going!
I could hear lots of stations and the ones I eventually
worked had to work
hard to get my callsign and serial....

Some stations seemed to be doing very well at start
G0ICJ/P
noisy as usual
G0JLF
The usual cacophony! A bit late on.
All q's serach and pounce
G0KYS
I think conditions favoured those in the centre of the
UK tonight. Didn't really find a frequency until just
before 9pm and even then I didn't get a good run.
G0MTN
Carnage... Well, not quite, but it says something when
most of our own
team can't manage to work each other during the event
!
G0OKF
Other matters intruded on my time given to the contest
Condx seemed OK.
This Super Duper programme is ace..
G0RAF
A very busy contest with plenty of strong signals

G3RRL
Good contest quite happy with SD now.
G3RSD
used sd great programme
G3SET
Good contest.
Thanks
G3SVD
Very good condx, amazing qrm with so many stations active.
My preferred rig (TS950SDX) was returned from repair
just before the contest. I don't think I could have
maintained the qso rate with the stand-by rig.
I think the format of these HFCC contests is very good
and perhaps should be expanded into other contests.
G3SXW
QRP in this contest is pure mascochism.
G3TBK
noisy band tonight but wanted signals quite strong
don't like ssb but Edward m3tbk was ill so I had no
getout
ft1000 100w dipole at 70 feet
G3TKF
Constant noise,tremendous QRM,what a headache !
G3VCA
Two Wave Delta Loop produced a skip peaking ~ 400 miles.
Band a little noisy against the last SSB contest.
European QRM caused a number of UK stations to be missed.
G3VHB
Very difficult to find a frequency after the start,
especially if you are QRP.
G3VIP
RIG FT301S 10W - 40M LW
BAND WALL TO WALL NOISE LOT OF WIDE SIGS
G3VQO
This month I opened a bottle of Adnams SSB (Suffolk
Strong Bitter) to see if it would help my performance.
My score did not improve, but it eased the pain of
operating in an SSB contest!!!
G3WHK
SD worked like a dream again
G3WRR
RIG - TenTec Orion
ANTENNAS - Inverted L, 50ft top @ 20ft
Hard work - I prefer CW!
No baluns were harmed in taking part in this contest.
G3WVG
FT1000mp 100W Dipole @20M
G3WZT
Getting far too popular now, sound more like the din
to be heard
on AFS. CW rules, OK !
G3XZW
Tonight we introduced new club members to HF contesting.
The session included TXing and Logging.
This was a very useful exercise for new members.
It was our first contest from our new premises.
G3ZBU
This contest is getting as popular as AFS.
The time is just right.
G3ZGC
What a racket!
G4BUO
Worked Italy two minutes into the contest, after that
all QSOs except one
were within the British Isles. Some high scores this
time.
G4DBS
A very busy contest with signals wall to wall
G4DBX
QRM and yet more QRM with some joker playing music
on the frequency for abt 15 minutes.
G4DDX
much better conditions this time. i am getting better
at calling CQ using computer logging. enjoyed it as
usual
G4EBK
Band very noisy at start, a lot of signals but
not able to work many. Condx improved in the
second half. rig KW TS850 100w Low Inv vee dipole.
G4ELY
I used SD for logging - it's great.
G4FKA
Dreadful! Loads of activity but very bad luck with run
frequencies. Resorted to S&P but well down on recent
sessions.
G4FNL
I FOUND A FREQ THAT WAS RELATIVELY QUIET AND
PURSUED WITH CQ'S. IT SEEMED TO WORK FAIRLY WELL. I
USED SD FOR LOGGING
G4GZB
Rather noisy but good fun!
I found SD to be FB for the contest
M3MVB
Despite not managing to get through the pileups it was
good fun
M3SCZ
First ever contest. Very good fun
M3WCK
The first half was much more successful than
the second perhaps I worked the easy ones first.
