M0FRH Thank you to all who worked me 73s M0GAV Another nice run this evening! M0NKS bit noisy on the band tonight but seemed better than before M0RDS late start due to feeder problem M0VIE/P heavy static and very noisy put enjoy it M0XIE Lots of QRM. Couldn't get heard! :( Very disappointing score M1EBV Held a frequency for 1/2 an hour. Good fun. M1PTR Good contest enjoyed as usual but local high noise level made it difficult to copy some stations. M3HYI My first attempt at a contest - was a hour late in starting - will do better next time. M3UJL First entry under my new callsign after Ofcom made a mistake by issuing my former call M3PXF to two people! MM0BHX I really must put up a proper antenna !!! |
SOAPBOX: 2E0RFS Gradually improving my score 2E1GZU This was the first contest on my own enjoyed very much used SD for loging EI/G4BUO Even in the last seven minutes it was incredibly hard to get anyone to hear my 100w from the west of Ireland G0AOJ Band was very good G0DAY Used SD again all worked well conditions not too bad all S&P G0DVJ High static levels. Good activity levels. Great fun G0EUN Very nice conditions a little crowded G0GDU Started S&P, managed to find noisy frequency to run for last 40 minutes G0GFQ My best effort so far and I really enjoyed myself... G0HSA After sorting out my antenna after the last contest have managed to increase my total this time around G0KYS Failed to find a clear frequency to call. Not my night G0LHZ Started 30 mins late, voice keyer failed - great fun G0OKF To many using amplifiers. G0TZZ/P Noisy CDX G0UGO Good conditions tonight! G0VGS Slow start but a good run at the end. Good condx G0WHO Tremendous congestion and noise levels very competitive G3GLL One of my rare ventures to SSB - what a racket !! G3HRH Very enjoyable. No serious QRM or QRN. Plenty of activity. Very few repeats G3IZD Lost my run frequency to an Italian net Low LW is not very competitive but good fun trying G3KLH Cndx down here near Christchurch quite good for a change G3LIK A lot of splatter at first but conditions improved as the contest went on. Nice to QSO a lot of friendly calls G3LOJ Log prepared originally in LOG-EQF. Recompiled using Superduper for CABRILLO by G0WHO (Robert Clutson) G3MGW Very enjoyable fast furious and noisy. Great to hear oldtimers and newcomers having fun. SD is so easy to use G3OLB Ugh! G3PHO My best score so far. Stayed on one frequency and called CQ. G3RRL Good contest when I found my local noise interference. G3SNU Hard going but good fun as usual G3SVD Another enjoyable contest this time with no problems I really enjoy these regular short contests the RSGB should try changing some others to this format G3TBK Condx good at start, but became noisy towards the end. FT1000MP, Dipole at 75 ft. G3UJE Excellent conditions throughout which meant that my guest operation at G3UJE's kept me very busy and 'tuned' my operating skills!! Great fun. G3VIP RIG IC7000 10W Dipole Homebrew logger QSB on sigs, as usual struggle with QRP. G3VQO I started off with good intentions, but, with fifteen gone, I remembered some paint I had left drying, and I spent much of the subsequent time watching it - so much more satisfying than an SSB contest! G3VUS had a great time and met a few friends G3WVG FT1000MP (100W version) + Dipole at 65ft. G3YEC Once again SD faultless trouble was PC !! G3YHV very noisy band and lots of weak stations at the start G3ZBU Small intermittent connection on antenna needs fixing! Probably a few minutes before the next contest... G3ZGC I was going to go normal 100w but I took the antenna down last night due to lightning, Now RF is getting in the PC and locking it up so I went 10w! Hardly any difference. A nice QSO with a mobile in the middle of it! G3ZHE lots of noise but lots of fun G4AIU Quite a bit of QRM G4ARN/P band cond quite good i thought and was great fun suggest a means of preventing people from "reserving the frequency" eg must qsy after every qso G4FKA Disastersville! Spent 11 minutes wondering where the stations were. Then discovered I was transmitting into the wrong antenna. Then the right antenna broke. And finally the power supply went phuttt. G4FNL I thought that I had a quiet frequency at the start but it soon became very noisy. It seemed that that was a lower than normal activity. See you all in the next one G4OGB Always very noisy G4OOC SD Performed Faultlessly. First Class Contest I Really Enjoyed it G4RCG The worst noise yet but still enjoyed it. G6FOP good fun for last 20 minutes of test G6KWA Static as loud as the big stations - band full - hard work but great fun G6UBM nice to have a clean band G7PVZ Most fun I've had in ages. Lots of stations and lots of noise!!! G7RTI As usual nice short contest during the week. I am always amazed how far I get out with my basic set-up. As usual the band was noisy. G7SHG good contest thank you to all stations for their time and patience 73s G8FCQ Great fun best personal best so far. G8FMJ/P dissapointing due to heavy qrm thanks for thanks to those who worked me and apologies to the ones I couldnt hear GM0ELP Static crashes! Good condx tonight allowed me to run. Some really big signals here. Nice to see some of the HFCC taking part from F and EI. GW4BLE Didn't arrive home until 19:15, on-air at 19:18 so missed a potential 30-40 contacts. M0CNP Struggled with severe local QRM and QRN but as usual a most enjoyable contest. M0DWQ Noisy Conditions |
