SOAPBOX: G0ADHHope to see everyone again next year G0AJJ Band conditions very poor. Signals fluctuating. G0DAY Signals on top of each other for the first half,but was much better in the second half. Had to have a late start, so not too displeased with the result. G0GDU All S&P - managed to get through to most on first call although unsuccessful with some G0GFQ Struggled to get stations and complete QSO G0JLF TS570DGE + low dipole. G0KDS Simple wire antenna plus tuner for 80m on 4m above ground G0KYA A lot of QRM - NIMM crashed and refused to work after 006! G0MTN Quiet at start... Does everyone start from the bottom and tune up the band ?? Lots of noise and QRM. When S+P was amazed to see how close by people can operate (fb!) Wen to PSK at end, despite missing several RTTY calls during S+P not yet worked. PSK rate was slow. Big thunderclap and power cut at 20.29Z after final QSO ! G0NVY lots of qrm on mmtty, worked nothing, so switch to psk31 G0OKF Power 50wATTS. ICOM 756 PRO III. Antenna 17m wire at 8m high via SGC 230 tuner. G0OOD/P Attempted to run data contest for the first time but pc failed. G0WHO QSOs 1 to 4 were in PSK31. From 5 onwards all RTTY Wasn't getting much success in PSK perhaps wrong sideband? G3HRH Very enjoyable with good stable conditions stations well spread out with minimal QRM G3KLH With no manual or electronic error detection possible with RTTY, why do some stations send their report just once? Excellent series of CC contests, any chance of short multiband CC contests ? G3LDI I wish people would send the usual 3 figure expected number starting with leading zero's. Also, would be a good idea to make sure that AFC and NET are switched off in MMTTY. G3LHJ Good Condx lots of Activity, could'nt better best score. but good fun. CU next year God willing. G3NPF A worse than usual effort caused by problems with the computer, which were not resolved until half way through the contest. G3RRL Good contest plenty of stations, conditions ok G3SHF First data modes contest. Enjoyed it! G3SNU congrats to contests committee cc rules etc - spot on.look forward to 2008. G3TXF Started out by CQing, but not much joy. Then S&P'ed until last 20 minutes when CQing worked better. The QSO exchanges are getting slicker. HFCC: Thanks for an excellent series of 80m CCs in 2007. Looking forward to the same again next year! G3VIP RIG IC7000 10w Dipole, Hamscope & homebrew logger Plenty of stns, couldn't find freq to run. Tks to all for the points roll on next year G3VMW Good conditions and plenty of stations to work. All RTTY no PSK31 this time. G3YAJ Very Enjoyable yet again, needs more frequencies as very noisy G3YOA Strange conditions G3ZBU Nothing went right this time. The VOX developed a huge time delay so the tx went on if I was lucky after a few seconds. But if I was unlucky it either didn't tx at all or about a minute later, often during someone else's QSO, for which I must apologise! G3ZGC PC kept crashing so gave up after 60 minutes. I ran 10w this session. G4ARI These contests have been fantastic fun. Thanks to everyone for all the QSOs and for making CC such an enjoyable contest See you next year G4BYG Had some fun again using N1MM Logger with MMTTY and MMVARI for psk31 G4DBW Plenty of activity and an enjoyable contest G4EBK Slow start but picked up later on. Lost a few Qsos due to rapid Qsb which didn't help. G4FKA All over for 2007. See you all in 2008. G4FQI Should have used a Creed 7B not a PC! G4JRY ICOM 746 WITH WINDOM & LONG WIRE, 50WATTS G4OGB Plenty of signals, but seemed to run out of people to work after 2000 Hrs. Thanks to all for the qso's this year, hope CU next series. G4WGE Steady traffic until G3--- plonked himself on my freq. May his dipole shrivel! Hi hi Otherwise usual good nature fun and operator inability to control the RTTY software. Apologies to those who got 'CQ TEST' instead of 'TU es 73' G5RR slow tonight but good fun G6FOP good fun again, Computer played up and took 20 minutes to get sorted G7TWC Excellent fun. Never had a run like that before on 80m data! What a way to end the season! G7VRK Band was very in and out lest hope for better next year M0CNP Dreadful conditions and early on I was suspecting all sorts of things wrong but seems the band was dead and skip was changing like a yo-yo. Roll on 2008! M0JQK Enjoyed this year.Bring on next year. M0NKS had brain fade at 2000z and nearly shut down then realised my mistake. Had some foreign stations not sure if they count. M0SPC Hectic M3PVJ bands very quiet M3TBK Not sure why people abbreviate to '5NN' on RTTY - but a good fun contest anyway! FT1000MP 10W dipole at 75ft.
