M0GNW Qrm!!! M0JQK very noisy but enjoyed the contest. Super dupa rocks M0KOP Enjoyed the contest as always, but very crowded and hard going. Thanks for the qso,s. M0LAF came into contest late but many good stations M0LUY Very very noisey M0MGF Good program shame about the bands M0NKS Conditions seemed good tonight apart from the occasional jamming and some minor QRM M0OXO Bad condx, very strong stations M0PTR Good condx here for a change, but very busy QRM Getting used to SD now, and it is really good M0RBG Very enjoyable once again M0SFG Slow start, picked up later M0SPC Hectic as usual but good fun, tnx to all M0SWE Great fun, just operated S&P. Was trying out new shortened dipole in inverted V - worked very well. M0WKR good contest. enjoying more with every month M0WTG Really enjoyed this one. Great. SD working well. M0XJP always enjoyable even with the qrm! M1EBV Late start due to heavy traffic on the M5. What a zoo! M1PTR Most of the contest was spent hunting and pouncing - very crowded and much QRM. M3RCV Only managed about 40 minutes this month. Lots of activity and some big scores. M3TBK FT1000MP 10 watts, dipole at 65 feet. SOABBOX: Better conditions, first decent score this year. M3VKL Great contest. First ssb on cc MM3UJL/P pandemonium on the band for a change PA1PT excellent it works always PA7PYR Nice and gentle contest tnx for all. Tnx ei5di for good software |
SOAPBOX: 2E0CVN1st entry in this years events due to working nite shifts! Nice to see a lot of activity. C u in CW :) 2E0NCG Good Condx but much QRM from continental stations! G0ADH Crowded, but fun. G0AJJ Lots of activity. Better score than last month. G0GDU Noisy band and some very big signals (59+40?) Stuck to S+P G0IBN long live cw G0ICJ Nice and easy to operate G0KDS A lot of QRM from the bigger stations. G0KYS Didn't find a frequency until 2005Z so manly S&P G0LGJ/M Very crowded G0MTN Had to give up run frequency to record "Come Dine with Me" for YL. Went S+P after that. G0OKF Enjoyed SD -- as usual. Much qrm for me. G0RAF Rather crowded on the band, very noisy G0RXA This was my second 80 Metre event and what activity. Hard work, but an enjoyable hour and a half. G0UIQ good contest G0WJX Used SD to log for first time and found it excellent. G0WWD Band conditions very good. G1EUA My first attempt at a Contest, would not call it enjoyable, but must support TARS, will do better next time. G3GLL SD worked fine. Band very noisy - I could only hear the strong ones ! G3HRH Very hard going with heavy QRM G3IZD Band very very busy so often difficult copy G3LDI What a mess! Lots of stations struggling through the QRM, including me. Could not find a run frequency until 9 p.m. G3LHJ The QRM wall to thick this time, very hard going down here in the deep south. SD worked like a dream also with the voice box. G3LIK Lot of interference and splatter. Good to hear some familiar calls. Great to log with SD G3MXH Started a little late . Found the band very busy but great fun. Conditions quite good into near Europe. G3NPF Good conditions again but QRM levels were incredible, with no "clear" frequencies anywhere. At least the operating was reasonably good. I can handle very strong signals but not when they are over compressed, distorted and 15kHz wide. G3OLB Noisy band but quite good going tonight! Had the usual fight with the computer in the middle of the contest. G3PYC SD is a must for me G3RCM Excellent band condx tonight lots of high scores and it was nice to be amongst them for a change! Thanks all 73 G3RRL Good enjoyable contest once again. G3RSD Used "sd" worked perfectly G3SJJ Since it had a been a hot day I decided to do a /P type effort from our summerhouse in the garden hence the echo effect. K3 performed well under crowded band conditions. Most callers were relatively weak yet high scoring stations strong suggesting they had better antennas. An interesting array of operating techniques, I even got a "Negatory"!! K3 and dipole at 57ft. N1MM. G3SVD This time I chose a bad frequency - very bad! It belonged to some German speaking operators. From the out set I was jammed by tones which I was able to work through. Then they started a qso on the frequency, I was still able to work through them with difficulty but then on came the linear, S9+60 on on the meter, with the attenuator in! I had to give up and go S&P! G3SWC Plenty of inter-G but GM's much weaker than usual. G3TBK IC7000, 10 WATTS, DIPOLE AT 35 FEET Hard work with QRP, some huge signals around. G3TXF Conditions stayed stable for inter-UK throughout the contest. Was fortunate enough to find a frequency at the beginning and maintain it for the whole 90 minutes. Had 120Qs in the log after the first hour and 180 gross (179 net) at the end. G3VCA A good contest with reasonable conditions-the usual 1KHz spacing: a large Brandy required post contest. G3VIP RIG IC7000 10W - 50M LW - Homebrew logger A wall of noise, this surely can't be classed as fun!! G3VPW Still getting faster at the run ! G3WVG ft1000mp (100w) version + dipole at 70ft G3YEC Good conditions. But when oh when are the RSGB going to monitor these SSB contests. Too many home stations sit on a frequency and work a "string" of callers before even giving once their own callsign. This is against the RSGB Rules but nothings done. G3YHV very noisy band and poor signals G3YOA Very busy G3ZBU loads of qrm but great fun all the same! G3ZGC G3YOA a dupe. Constatly jammed by data. Rig IC7700 to 132 ft wire wrapped round 55 ft garden. 100w. G4ABX Variable conditions, but lots of activity. Good contest. Best ever score! G4ARN/P Terrible static but managed ok G4BUO Not so good this month! G4CZB Late start but first time with the K2 on SSB - very impressive strong signal performance, every bit as good as on CW. G4DDX Very busy once again and quite a challenge which makes it most enjoyable I used SD as usual and would be lost without it G4EBK A struggle from start to finish. G4EOF Superb night on the radio. G4ERW Used new 260ft doublet antenna. Fast and furious - except for last 20 minutes! G4FNL Condx seemed good to me. Thanks to all for the QSOs G4FQI 1.6kc spacing is not enough!!! G4GZB Lots of QRM, but the time flew by. SD again gave a good account of its self G4IPZ Absolute bedlam - but fun (Other than certain EU stations deliberately tuning up and sending sstv) but the new long wire worked a treat. Roll on next month! G4IUF Noisier band this time. Enjoyed using SD G4OOC Once again SD worked Flawlesly SD really is brilliant HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! G4RCD Unable to find a run frequency. Very crowded band. S&P for most of contrest until very near to end of contest. Must get into the shack earlier! G4RCG Great session, but very noisy only got the regular jammers once, slowed right down just after 21.00 so went off S & P and picked up the few I had missed G4WBV Very noisy band conditions G5KC Better results with simple dipole 3' above ground ! Enjoyed using SD - its getting easier to use ! G7RFB Lots of Qrm G7SKR Very crowded tonight. Score still improving! G7VRK Lot of deliberate qrm from german stations but conditions good sd worked well as allways G8FMJ/P Good conditions again great fun. Thanks to all who worked me. Apologies to those I didnt hear G8NRP Very noisey band until darkness G8YMW/P Very noisey M0AAA This month I tried the G5RV and doubled last months QSO's. I don't think the 60M vertical on the Helikite is not any use for short skip into the UK. M0CNP At long last the band was open to the end of the contest Unfortunately lost a quarter of an hour from a phone call I had to take! Otherwise, as usual, most enjoyable and thanks everyone for the points. |
