G4FNL Good to see a little more activity and quite a good number of QSOs into France. FT1000MP + 80m horizontal loop at 30ft. G4FSU Good fun. Very much enjoy the format & not having to stake out a frequency for an hour before the start. Keep spreading the word & it'll get busier. And we'll sort out the macros for the sprint format!!! Tnx SD. Elecraft K3 + Doublet at 10 metres G4OGB Getting more activity. SD as usual OK. IC746 + 176ft Doublet @ 15ft. G4RCG Did about 30 mins from my radio club just to give a few points away. FT1000 + Dipole. G4RLS Poor QTH for 80mtres. Lots of local noise but great fun except for the scrappy paddle in need of a service. My CW isn't really that poor (honest guv!). TS850 + Loaded Dipole 50ft top G4RQI First Sprint. Ten Tec Omni VII + Inverted V. G4ZFE More activity this session was most welcome. A fun contest series. Elecraft K3/100 to W3DZZ at 28 feet. G8FCQ Hard going for a Gee Ate ! Lots of strong sigs tending to overload sound card must investigate working direct keying. FT1000 + 170 ft doublet. G8LED (G4CZB). Needs a bit more participation to work really well. Elecraft K2 + Doublet. GM3ZBE Only made it on for the last few minutes! Must be my smallest log entry ever. Ft1000D + 80M dipole at 40ft. GW0ETF First time I've not worked 'Ed'....! GW4BLE "Every little helps". MM0GPZ Crikey, not as easy as just listening for serials Hi. PG7V Activity a little bit better than last month, but more stations would be nice. If only half of the 80m CC participants would join... I'll keep trying, see you next month! SOAPBOX: EI5DI How about allowing repeat QSOs with individual stations once 30 minutes has elapsed since the previous QSO? G0MTN Wow - really surprised people heard me with the 160m inverted L mostly coiled up at five feet, plus one radial! G0TZZ My apologies to all. A colleague M0RYB was transmitting GB2CW in the next room this played merry hell with the PC and N1MM. I was fighting on all fronts but fun was had. RF into everything from 2m CW transmissions is definitely not an aid to contesting. G3GLL SD worked fine- A little more activity- but not much !! FT1000mp + Low dipole. G3HRH Very difficult to read CW and type at the same time. A mismatch between brain and keyboard. Nevertheless enjoyable in reasonable conditions down here in Cornwall. TS530SP + end-fed quarterwave at 12ft G3KKP Conditions seemed well down and my grasp of the Sprint technique was down also ! Kenwood TS-870 + 102ft doublet 15ft AGL. G3KNU IC756pro3 + W3DZZ Dipole G3LDI Gradually getting used to the slower contest sprint procedure, but it will take a few contests before I feel comfortable with it! G3LIK Slow going towards the end, but a few more getting involved with the sprints now. Conditions were good. FT1000MP + Inverted Vee W3DZZ apex 35 feet. G3TLH First attempt at Club Sprint. What an excellent idea for a contest. QSY rules make it different and was amazed to find some of "big guns" answering my CQs. Found it all rather relaxing and civilised. Also not too long. Will certainly take part again. K2 5 Watts + End fed 150 feet. G3TXF Nice to hear a few neighbouring countries joining in. It felt like a "sprint" for the first 30 minutes but thereafter just degenerated into a slow contest with compulsory frequency hops! G3VMW Rig was 100W from Home Made Star II DSP Transceiver and 130ft CF doublet at 40ft G3VQO REALLY hard going for the last half-hour. Received one report of T7 note - hopefully resolved (earthing problem after shack re-arrangement). Good to hear several French stations joining in. FT-920 + random end-fed wire. G3YMC My first venture in the sprints. Apart from getting a bit confused with the procedure at times I quite enjoyed it and will try and get some more of our members on. These events certainly need more participation, I ran out of stuff to work at the end. Elecraft K2 5W + 65ft longwire. G3ZHE Long skip, first time into Latvia for a point HI. Good Fun. 100w + 90ft doublet. G3ZRJ Quite a few regulars missing. Some good signals tonight A Few at 40 dB over. Thanks for another fun evening. SD worked perfectly as always.
