Very difficult to find a space!!!! SD performed well again GW7BZR K3 worked well operator could do better M0FRH Thank you to all who worked me. Used 10 watts M0IAA very enjoyable this time! M0LUV Good fun but not enough of the band free! M0NKS A better night not so much jamming going on tonight!! good iner 'G' propogation M0OXO Very gud condx held freq for the first time ever! M0SEL Very good conditions tonight M0VRR QRP is fun M0WTG Very Busy but hard work today. Propagation much easier M0XDX My 3rd 80m contest-perfect conditions, very enjoyable! M0XIE Lots of QRM. Difficult being heard sometimes. Disappointing result MM0BQI Just a few minutes to grab some points. It was all VERY loud! MM0GOR Plenty of strong stations but need new 80m antenna ON9CSV 80m club contest ssb Kenwood TS-450 at 100W on LSB into jury-rigged low-hanging not entirely resonant dipole PA3JD My 1st RSGB contest. Did enjoy it much. |
SOAPBOX: 2E0RFS A lot of overlapping stations made conditions interesting and certainly made the ears ache. 2E0TJX it was great!!! DG4DW What a crazy evening. Here near Dortmund the band was so full QRM so strong wow. And i found not a free QRG for call CQ contest. So my friends it was ok today but very hard! I think we hear us again next month! DL2SAX Vy worse propagation, nearly noone could coppy me and the qrm was terrible G0AAA FT1000MP ..100W version to dipole at 50ft G0AJJ Very slow until last 20mins. QRM was horrendous! G0CLP/P Wall to wall qrm across both sections. Very hard going cw so much more fun! A few stations operating outside the sectons limits G0DAY Hard going with QRP conditions ok though. G0DVJ Good activity levels. Footswitch failed halfway through! Not much long skip tonight G0DWV Mic problems, then it all started to work... so recovered a little, but not much G0FYX Crowded band and good condx.SD worked well. G0GDU Long skip for most of evening usual one way propagation in evidence. Some very big (+50dB) signals heard. Deliberate interference on 3.7365 by someone claiming SSTV rights to frequency G0GFQ Hard work but got a few G0HSA Missed the first half hour hence the low score. SD performed well as usual. Must get on earlier next time judging by the high scores heard on the band. Roll on the next contest G0JLF Very noisy + some deliberate jamming about G0KYS Didn't find a frequency until 2050. Good fun after that! G0LHZ Qrm qrm qrm! G0MLY Hard work with lots of QRM and a chest infection! Much more enjoyable later on when I could find a frequency to run with though. G0MTN Just 47 mins QRV.. G0ORH Dire condx things can only get better!!........... please. G0TZZ Better condx than of late. Scores slowly climbing agn. thanks all for your patience. G0UIQ Good contest better than last time. Tnks to all fer points . G0VZQ Receiving OK just not getting out. Need better earth/more height. G0WJX Conditions were better than last time. G1RVP Band in much better shape this eve. Thanks to all G1VDP Lots of QRM from stations moving in close. Also had my regular keyer but hey worked round G2BKZ Late starter good fun meeting old and new calls G3HRH Very busy. Wall to wall QRM. Just couldn't get a run going this time G3IZD Great run rate initially until intense EU QRM made running impossible. I must admit that my low bent ant is hardly competitive G3LDI Heavy QRM on this one! Difficult to maintain a run frequency. G3LHJ Very Heavy activity - good condx - took 40 Mins to find hole amongst the big signals to run. Should think it will be a bumper entry. cu in the next one G3NLY Tried QRP but local QRN & being unable to hold a frequency made it too hard going. So changed midway to LOW section. G3OLB What a din but some very high serial numbers being given. G3PHO Fantastic conditions tonight but very heavy QRM. Managed a run frequency until well after 2100 and then had to go S&P. G4TQF's callsign fooled me for a moment as I thought I'd misread G3TQF!! G3PYC I would be lost without SD G3SVD The best result I have achieved to date. A very enjoyable contest - again. G3SWC What a struggle! Took an hour to find a run frequency. G3TKF Excellent conditions for a change .. G3TXF Fantastic inter-G conditions and huge amount of activity. Looks like several stations may have broken the 200-QSO mark. Great to see the RSGB 80m CCs go from strength to strength. G3VCA More enjoyable with less QRM this time. G3VDB Worked most of the running stations I could hear. Shows the limits of S&P and the importance of grabbing a clear channel early G3YEC Although noisey tonight at least plenty signals there. When o when is the RSGB going to tighten up on their rule that stations give their cvallsign every QSO. The stations who do not send their callsign waste my time. G3YMC Having just today put in the SSB module in my K2 I thought I would have a play. But QRP and poor antennas just don't work in the SSB legs and I found after half an hour and only 2 QSOs I had had enough. G3ZBU Antenna higher than last time. 37 feet in the centre. I was quite busy for the last half hour as I found a free channel. Excellent conditions. Another bonus G3ZGC Give me CW anyday! G3ZHE Not a bad night but the QRM was LOUD 73 G4BXT Very crowded. A lot of deliberate jamming by non-contesters. G4CKH Very busy band G4DDX The contest started ok but found I was being ignored a lot. Then found my receive gain was down at the same time SWR went high and only 10w out. After 20 min found loose PL259 on ant lead from loft!! So could have done better but enjoyed it in the end. G4FAL Shortest ever contest - about 10 seconds. Went out and didn't return until after it had finished. G4FNL Terrible contest from my perspective. I didn't seem to have much of a signal. Couldn't see anything wrong with equipment so I suppose it was down to strange propagation? A local friend approx 30 miles away had a very successful contest. So, hopefully things will be better next time! G4GZB Enjoyed the contest. All went well G4IUF Some really BIG signals tonight. G4KNO If you don't find a run frequency at the start you're stuffed! G4LMW Good conditions and good signals made it tough going for QRP but it was a fun challenge! G4OGB Noisy G4OOC Qrm was really bad at my QTH G4RCG Unbelievable qrm on this test never heard it so bad on a CC test. G4VUD Such a mass of noise how to break through? G4WUG Very good condx....What a crazy 90 mins! One day I'll be a big enough signal to hold a frequency hi ! G7SHG good contest thanks to all stations for the points and their time and patience G7SKR Noisy conditions and seemingly a lot of deliberate QRM from some UK non-contest stations. G7VRK Late start had to sp not my best conditions better this time lots more gw & gm stations this time with a good mix of eu G8FCQ New antenna Considerable Continental QRM till 21.00 Then band settled down at 21.00 for inter "G" Who was the kind contest op gentleman who asked me to QSY 5khz Does he own 80 mrs ? G8FMJ/P really enjoyable contest thanks to all QSOs GM0ELP FT1000MP 80M doublet Great inter-G condx but less DX. Good fun. Thanks to all who worked me. GM3ZRT plenty of strong stations GW4BLE Suffered with head cold/cough...stayed on one freq all night. Bad decision. Roll on the sprints.... |
