SOAPBOX:
2E0IMW
Very high noise level. got more QSO's in last 30 min than in the
previous hour. Hard work!!
2E0RFS/A
working from temp location"Boreham" very noisy and high
QRM made contacts difficult.
2E0ZIP
marvellous program!
2E0ZWW
local thunder storm caused a lot of static crash's... plenty of
qrm....just giving some points away
G0ADH
Unfortunately had to finish early due to throat problem.
G0DAY
What a noise ? Every inch taken up plus noise from
static crashes a lot of calling
G0FYX
Busy band some static but good contest.
SuperDuper SD logging program works well.
G0GFQ
Very noisy conditions a real struggle for me
G0HSA
A better performance this time. Conditions difficult with the
static. Roll on the next contest
G0KYA
Wall to wall QRM - need more space.
G0MLY
Far too much QRM to have a chance of getting a run
freq. Seemed much harder work than some of the
earlier contests to me. S&P worked well at the beginning but
truthfully, it's been tough tonight!
G0VJG
band bit poor in the south only one gm ??
G0VZQ
Tried Inverted V but had to revert to simple wire
G1RVP
Lots of static
G2BKZ
Search and pounce only. Busy night
G3GHS
static but worth the fight time flies
G3HRH
Very busy. Wall to wall QRM. Quite a lot of static. Some very big
signals
G3IZD
Managed to hold my run freq for over an hour. Some enormous signals so
had IPO (no rx preamp) 18db att and RF gain backed off pls v narrow
selectivity in order to effect copy
G3LDI
First time ever that I have been able to run on one frequency all the
time!
G3LHJ
Very hard going this time weaker sigs and more QRM
making it less enjoyable but still it was fun.
G3LIK
Lots of QRM from stations running high power which is not allowed
according to the rules. Nice to see a lot of Foundation &
Intermediate stations taking part tonight but think they found it a
struggle
G3NFB
What a difference BST makes "Up North"
G3OLB
10 watts and a truly horrible experience!
G3PDH
Severe problems copying through S9 QRN and general splatter. Apologies
to those that called several times and the repeats.
G3PHO
Very noisy band tonight with strong QRN throughout the period. As a
result I had to ask for repeats much more than usual. I did not find a
run frequency until 1915 and even then it was a very difficult slot
between to strong stations.
G3PYC
SD is a must with us old timers
G3SET
TX failed at 1945Z
G3SNU
Condx great but only in last half hour in deepest Devon.
G3SVD
Another enjoyable event. Next week data modes which will not be so
succesful.
G3TKF
Qrp for the first time and several domestic problems
G3VCA
Enjoyable good conditions a fair amount of europian QRM
and the usual tuners who think it clever to try and disrupt.
G3VIP
RIG IC7000 10W - 40M LW - Homebrew logger
Big signals big scores (1 stn s9 + 50db 100w NO WAY)
G3VPW
Good inter-G activity not so many GMs tonight.
G3VQO
Twelve contacts then I got bored !!!
G3VUS
very strong sigs and my old 751A rx is not up to it!
G3WVG
ft1000mp (100w version) + dipole at 60ft.
Got on for the last 30 mins. Several outstanding signals again tonight.
Amazing for 100W.
G3XLL
Much QRM and QRN. Thunderstorm arrived just at end
of contest!
G3XVR
Lots of static around. Couldn't pull all of the weak stations
from under the QRM and QRN.
G3YEC
Very noisy with lightning and thunder in the vicinity. Ran to earth in
the end !! Nice to hear some old CW friends on in between the bursts !!
SD good as ever.
G3YOA
Good contest
G3ZBU
Plenty of activity. Thuderstorms causing me a bit of grief by causing
static crashes so it was impossible to copy the weakest stations. Sorry
about that!
G3ZGC
100w IC7700 to 12 ft wire wrapped into 55 ft garden. My antenna favours
it as it gets dark. And it showed tonight! I managed a run for a
change! Can someone make a programme to convert Morse to SSB! That
would be more fun!
G4ABX
Excellent night. Great fun. The band was crowded!
SD is a great logging program for these contests
G4AXX
Lots of lightning QRN
G4BUO
Noisy band tonight but I found a hole after 20 minutes of S+P
and held on until the end. Good support from the Netherlands
G4BXT
Not enough room on band to cope with number of entrants. Bagging a
running frequency at the beginning appears to
be virtually essential. I would suggest some form of mult to chase to
make more entrants do more S&P. Late starting
shrimps like me don't stand a chance.:-)
G4DDX
Very busy and crowded. First hour could only work 51
qso's wid s&p. Last 1/2hr got a run going and worked
53 qso's and it was very hectic which i just managed
First time over 100 qso's so very pleased with myself
Used SD as usual the audble warning of dupes usefull
G4EKT
Bit crowded !
G4FAL
Forgot about contest until 20 minutes in. Managed to find a run
frequency - whoopee! Thanks for all Qs.
G4FKA
Good rate at the beginning but noise levels high in the final hour.
Residual thunder static in the background.
G4FNL
Great activity from my perspective. Much better score than previous SSB
event (I since fixed an aerial problem). Thanks to everyone for the
QSO's
G4HSU
100w FT-897 0.8m ASL with Doublet at about 5m
G4IUF
Lots of QRN/QRM tonight hard work. Enjoyed using SD
G4KNO
Much better to run! Can't get the hang of SO2V though.
G4LWB
Noisy much static
G4MEM
Trying out portable setup for the first time. Great to be out on an
evening. Work to do on the antenna as counted more sheep than contacts
G4OOC
Band conditions were pretty noisy
G4RCG
Found a good run frequency which was relativly quiet and worked it
until 21.10 then went S&P to find the ones that had not worked
me. High static crashes but still manged to get one of my best scores.
There were some stations on the band whose sig's were terrible
G4SJX
New antenna. First time for DMU. Must try harder next time
G4VUD
lots of static made it hard going
G4WNF
IC-756 Pro III G5RV @ 10M 60M ASL
G4WUG
What a load of row ! Wish some stations would give callsigns more often
instead of just QRZ it would save wasting time waiting only to find its
a dupe !! Bring on data.
G6KWA
Very Strong signals massive QRM great practise.
G6UBM
would be nice if cq Calls included call sign
G7BRZ
lot of QRN and QRM
G7SHG
very noisy band. thanks to all stations
G7SKR
Lots of QRM tonight. A really tight squeeze!
G7TWC
A personal best. Really enjoyed this leg.
G7VRK
LATE START Had to s&p not my best
then found frq but lot of qrm and splatter. Using SD under wine linux
G8FMJ/P
Dissapointing result-poor frequency choice+QRM hope
next one will be better.
G8NRP
Good fun for a change with new antenna
G8VCN
Very difficult conditions
GW3KDB
FT1000MP 100Watts Doublet at 45Ft.
Not my favourite mode I find it hard work.
GW4BLE
First time QRP on SSB in this event - FB!
GW4BVE
New antenna - one wavelength loop 5m agl.
QRP is hard work.
GW4EVX
Just giving points away, very enjoyable contest.
M0CHK
Very noise band with static crashes at +40
Sorry to thoses I could not hear.
