Checklog: G0ROW G6XRL SOAPBOX: 2E0RCV Another good evening. Pity there are not more stations active as the last 30 mins is something of a struggle. G0AAA 100W to a dipole at 70ft. Condx were good. Some QRP stations were really loud. G0FYX A late start. SD works well G0GDU 10W into W3DZZ @ 26ft. Started off a good pace but seemed to run out of new stations in the last 30 mins G0IBN Thanks to SD it makes it easy. Late due to work G0LZL Hope log ok had to edit all qso's as my software did not recognise I was operating ssb so all qso's in wrong mode G0MTN Just playing with antenna centre at about 12 feet. Still works G0PEB Good fun using 10W QRP. G0TPH Conditions were really hard going in the first 30 minutes - lots of activity, QRM, SSTV etc but after that the band quietened down and the rate picked up accordiningly. G0VGS Fun evening which would have been better if I had noticed I was using the wrong aerial at the beginning! G0WWD A very good contest G3HRH Very enjoyable with quite good conditions except high background noise level. My poor antenna did surprisingly well Some deliberate jamming early on G3KNU Judging by the high numbers received there was increased activity but it wasn't reflected in my log. G3LHJ Little bit noiser tonight - skip seemed to keep changeing - but all good fun. G3LIK Lot of European stations in QSO and difficult to find spaces to call CQ at times. Good to have SD for logging G3NDJ condx good fun contest sd good for logging G3OLB 10 watts from TS850 and dipole at 60 feet. Plenty of activity tonight and no quiet spells. G3TXF Yes there are definitely moments when it's beginning to feel like a real sprint! Especially during the first 45 minutes or so. G3VPW Another interesting contest chasing up and down the band. G3ZGC 10w from IC7700 to 132 ft wire wrapped into 55 ft garden up 40 ft. More than one well known big signal stole my channel whilst I was in mid QSO! I enjoyed this contest but generally do not like SSB contests prefer CW! Sorry no frequency readout from radio to PC. G4ABX Good contest. MOst enjoyable. My best score yet :-) G4EBK Mainly good conditions only had a struggle with a couple. G4FAL Activity seemed to be up. G4FNL Activity was definitely higher for this contest. It was great to hear a few new callsigns too. FT1000MP + Heil headset + 80m horizontal loop G4HRC Lost a few contacts midway as the laptop HDD was faulty G4IRC Great fun. Best score so far. Lots of activity G4LMW A very civilised evening. Had a few exchanges that weren't quite from the template and heard a few QSOs in the "forbidden zone" (3650-3700) which will have annoyed the non-contesters. G4RCG Very noisy session with very loud EU stations all complaining about the contest but was still good fun and pleased to see quite a few 2E's on as well G4SJX Late on parade but great fun G6UBM interestingly confused evening GW3SQX Bit of dabbling from me! GW4BLE contest-within-a-contest = decided to keep to one hour QRP and more of a sprint! Good fun! M0FRH Enjoyed this contest. Thanks to all who worked me. M1PTR Thought I'd have a go QRP for a change and was pleasantly suprised at the results. ON6LY just give some points at the end of the contest PA0MIR Back from holiday in VE6 and VE7 I try to join again the 80 m fun in the RSGB sprint. Unfortunately do not hear the weaker stations because of the noise level here so the score is quite limited. But had fun anyway. |
