SOAPBOX: G0GDU late start seemed to require need to repeat number for each qso. s8 power line noise did not help on receive G0LZL Using N1MM for first time and had many problems with func.key keying. Lots of lessons leart but main one never stop using your paddle for computer keyer as you soon forget how to use it, hi G0VDZ If it could go wrong it did.Computer would not log qso's.Got it sorted then it would not send callsign or aq etc.Got it sorted then it would not log qso.Then when it was all sorted out, there did not seem to be that much activity.Still it was enjoyable as usual. G3GLL SD went well. The usual slow going for this contest. Conditions seemed good G3JRM Nice end for my contesting year .Thanks to everyone for the contacts. Conditions here on thursday night very fair and the interesting format keeps you on your toes so great fun G3KKP Enjoyed the contest apart from the Plasma tv QRM! G3LHJ Not so good this time must be the WX Hi - cu next year G3LIK Good conditions this evening all over G land. Lots of normal callsigns in the contest Pity the last one in the contest this year G3OLB 3 watts only tonight from K3 and dipole at 60'. Bit slow going but the low power doesn't seem to be much of a handicap! G3TBK Got off to a very slow start and in didn't improve much! Nice to be called by 5b4 though. G3TLH Civilised contest the Sprint amd emjoyed it with good conditions this evening G3TXF Despite CQing and searching hard, no QSO was made in the last 15 minutes. Guess still not quite enough activity to make it zippy for the full 90 minutes. G3VPW First ever CW sprint so a bit stilted operation until I got into a rhythm. Nevertheless good fun. G3ZRJ Good turn out tonight condx seemed very good good signal from TF land as bit of a DX bonus. SD worked fine as always G4ARI Thanks to the HFCC for orgnanising and running these vey enjoyable contests and thanks to everyone for all the QSOs. It was great fun. I just don't know how I am going to fill the long December evenings now these Sprints have ended HI G4EBK Started well 33 in first hour. Finished with 39. G4ELZ A bit noisey but great fun G4FNL Activity levels not as high as for the previous SSB Sprint. Nice to be called by 5B4AIZ. FT1000MP + 80m horizontal loop at 35ft high. Thanks to all for the QSOs. Hope to see you next year. G4GZB Ability to take down CW is in decline Now at 80 years. Otherwise I enjoyed being in the fray! G4IRC Longish skip tonight. CU next time G4OOC Had a lot of problems so only managed the 3 qso's G4RCG Was a real slow session not many Europeans on as normal but still enjoyed it G7SKR PC to RIG interface failure forced me to use a real key for only the second time ever. No-one laughed too much but the QSO count suffered. G8FCQ Faulty Auto remote ATU had to lash up a Balun for attempt of a match. Result poor rxd signal. Made my software RX somewhat problematical ! GM3ZBE SD using ESM is excellent for these sprint contests M0CNP Couldn't get into the swing of things tonight the CW was a tad too fast but still enjoyed it. Roll on next year! M0NQN Joined a little late - kept busy throughout ON3ND I found the activity from British stations rather low this time... 73 to all entrants...
