G6CSY
Some badly overdriven signals heard but not worked.
G6UJC
Very slow start and PSK decided not to decode for some unknown reason
was working perfectly prior to contest. Oh well enjoyed all the same.
G6WRW
First data contest
G7SOZ
Only managed to do last half hour due to other commitments.
G8CKT
First time on 80M datamodes
G8FCQ
Attempt @ QRP. Despite some extensive testing prior to contest had some
problems. Due I think to different Audio Characteristics of not my
normal Radio or Sound card.
But as always FB fun
G8NRP
very difficult conditions
GM3POI
Poor Conditions after solar activity. Who was the idiot that
that suggested that PSK would be a good idea?
GM3YEH
Conditions didn't seem very good from S-W GM this time. Struggled to be
heard both run and S&P.
GW0ETF
Conditions very difficult for PSK from here..spent 45 minutes
collecting 7 contacts! Used the K3's cw to data engine for the whole
contest - no PC
GW4BLE
Off to a great start on RTTY... then went to PSK and all
went pear shaped from there on....
GW4BVE
Poor propagation and it got worse as the contest went on.
M0AAA
Hard going. Not one station came back to my CQ calls.
M0CNP
Enjoyed this evening despite the relatively poor conditions.
M0DCD
Hard going this session
M0JCM
Good fun again - not as many QSOs as I had hoped
M0JEC
FT817 G4FON Contest and 102ft doublet ONLY 5W
M0KTM
Struggled with the conditions to say the least, could not receive any
RTTY????
M0MDF
Condx were better tonight.
M0NKS
A pleasant evening better than the ssb last week
M0NQN
Just couldn't get going!!
M1ADX
A bit of a disaster from my point of view. It was very difficult to get
a response when I called.
MM0BQI
Not the best radio conditions for data modes but it is the taking part
that is important! Good levels of activity but very little joy with S+P
most of the Qs came from calling CQ.
Great format that really challenges the operator.

Good fun.
G0GDU
Spend abt 50 mins calling on psk but i guess my 10w not enough to break
through the qrm from the qro stations
psk seems not an ideal contest mode when there is significant band
occupancy
G0GFQ
Nightmare
G0MTN
Interesting propagation. Couldn't face any PSK tonight.
G0OKF
a total waste of my time. Conditions were atrocious
G0PSE
SD and MixW PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. A JOY TO USE
G0RAF
Operated from RAF Waddington ARC at The Pyewipe Inn Saxilby Road
Lincoln. Rig: Yaesu FT-920 @ 80W Ant:
Homebrew Dipole @ abt 6m. Interface:
Commercial Computer: Panasonic CF-27
Toughbook
Software: MixW 2.18 & Windows Notepad!
For some reason I couldn't get RTTY to work when i wanted it to but it
worked the previous night when I test ran the setup! PSK-31
only it was then!
G0TZZ
Only mamaged the last few minutes so no PSK this time....Never mind
G0WHO
Surprised at the power used by contestants in what is
a "QRP" mode
G1XKZ
Wasted about 15 minutes in the contest with N1MM trying to get PSK31
working. I had used it earler in the day on PSK31 with no problem.
G3HRH
Difficult conditions. Hard work with many repeats
Couldn't seem to get PSK31 to go this time
G3IZD
looking forward to better condx later on
I really struggle with this mode must try MMTTY
G3LDI
Too Many RYs!! Too many Line-feeds! Too many of MY calls.
G3LET
Propagation held up well this evening. Still getting the hang of the
spacing and trying to avoid too many CW abbreviations.
G3LHJ
Quite a struggle again. - must get my antenna problem solved
G3ORY
Apologies to those who tried to work me early on when I screwed up my
macros and was trying to fix them on the fly.
Thank you for your patience.
G3PHO
A total and utter disaster!Got into all kinds of finger trouble with my
new Microham keyer and mixW! During tests on a dummy load earlier in
the day I was sending 5 watts only and forgot to up the power
to 100W until I realised near
end of the contest! That explains why I couldn't raise anyone on a CQ
or even search & pounce for most of the contest. PSK seemed
very active.
G3PSM
Interesting experience and hadn't decided which software to use until
shortly before the contest!
G3SNU
Spent first hour on ry but by 2100 most rtty stations had migrated to
psk
G3SVD
I am only submitting a very VERY short check log as I suffered from
serious PC problems. The first
few QSOs were difficult to log and after that impossible so I put out
the white flag and surrendered.
G3SWC
Had extreme difficulty in resolving PSK and had usual finger trouble
giving out duplicate serial numbers!
G3TBK
RTTY went OK but as for PSK - only SSTV could be a worse mode for
contesting! MANY STRONG STATIONS READABLE ON SEVERAL FREQUENCIES
G3TKF
Started late and macros were incorrect ...
Then discoverd the rx audio being picked up via a mic in the shack and
not direct !
G3TLH
All QSOs on RTTY. PSK contesting is hard work and no
fun at all!
G3TXF
There's something decidedly flakey about PSK as a contest mode. At
least with RTTY QSO exchanges are robust, but on PSK it's not the same!
Thanks to Clive GM3POI and Roger G3LDI for huge amount of help with
setting up N1MM-MicroHAM-K3 combo. Not an easy task!
G3VCA
What a pleasant change from the CW & SSB January events. No QRM
little QSB and reasonable skip. ICOM756pro111 and 550 ft delta loop in
the clear.
G3VDB
Lost my first psk run frequency to a RA3. Never really recovered!
G3VPW
First time ever operated on data mode let alone a contest ! Just
getting the hang so let's see what happens next time. Loaded MMVARI
about one hour before the contest so totally green on the operation and
techniques the log shows
two QSOs with G2YL suspect the QSO at 2053 UTC was with someone else !
G3ZBU
Only ran QRP as I suspect running 100W for AFS caused our TV to go
funny. By funny I mean the vertical linearity went silly so peoples
heads looked disproportionately large!
G3ZGC
Very noisy at my home QTH.
Running IC7700 set to 10w to 132 ft wire up abt 40 ft wrapped into 55
ft garden.
G4AIU
Conditions not good IN IO80JX
G4EBK
Wasted a lot of time on PSK. many over driven signals. Not a good
contest mode.
G4FAL
Propagation seemed pretty good from sunny Sheffield.
G4FKA
Not a bad start to the data legs. Loads of PSK activity. Conditions
variable but held up OK.
G4FLY
First contest attempt started late must do better next time !.
G4JZL
My first attempt at cc
G4LMW
Why was everyone crammed under 3600?
I would expect to do better, even with 10W, so will work on the set-up.
Ten-Tec Orion, 10W to dipole at 25 feet.
G4SJX
Rig: ft1000mp mkv field. Pwr: 50w. Ant: 80m dipole centre 50ft. Sw:

G4WUG
A few dramas....Sorry to the stations who suffered my inept macro use
but hey-ho good game apart from that thanks for the points.
