GM0ELP Started 10 mins late struggled a bit to catch up. Good condx tnx to all who worked me. GM3POI Poor Condx for this one GM3ZBE The band semed open to everywhere! GM and G and the continent as well GM3ZRT band very lively here in the north GM4OSS Good short contest SD work well as usual. GM6NX ICOM-756 PROii & DIPOLE cw leg feb GW0ETF Best conditions for a long while and managed to run for most of the time. Think this will be my best score... GW3KDB FT 1000MP 100 Watts Dipole at 45Ft. Activity seemed down this time. LY4L Thanks to my brother Jay 2E0UNN for info about RSGB CC 80 contest. I have had realy nice time on Thursday evening. It was first but not the last time. LY9A 73 & CU next CC. M0AAA Fantastic here. Short skip to UK and also long skip to EU. I even worked RU4SO. Best night so far. M0CNP Conditions not bad it just seemed to take ages to establish a contact. M0NQN Kept busy throughout M0RBG Great propogation making a very competitive contest M0TUB Rome was not built in a day - nor will be my ability at CW hi hi. Enjoyed the contest. M0VAA First ever CW contest. I only need to triple my rate and I should be up there with the rest! MM0BQI Quiet conditions tonight and very enjoyable. Swept the band a couple of times and worked all the stations I could hear. K3, 100w to low trapped dipole running N-S MM0GPZ Thanks for patience. MW0RZC very slow going ON3ND Great activity today... No break during this small competition. PA2PCH good conditions PA3AM I tried to change strategy this time. Instead of S&P now tried CQ-only. Vy hard first minutes whre were you all? It took 4 minutes to meet G4OGB as a first and after 15 minutes had 6 qso's only. I just kept on giving "CQ test" and was slowly discovered as a "foreign" station valid for points. QSO nr 8 and got nr 34 from G3GLL tnx! Situation improved after 45 minutes and I was able to end at 53 QSO's. At the end GW0ETF and G3ORY passed by with nrs 118 and 123. My target for the next time is to end above 100 but it seems I need to be more attractive? One and a half hour on 3541 "CQ -only" was still a pleasure ! SM0A Strong sigs from UK SM5CSS Rig K3 100W and Dipole antenna SM5OUU Rig: FT-817 Ant: Dipole SO9G Ts850sat dipole |
SOAPBOX: DL7FA always a pleasure to participate. G0CLP Excellent condx in the north for a change! G0DAY Conditions seemed good from start to finish maybe a little hard going in the last 20mins or so. G0EYR Evening only got better ! G0FYX 'Normal' condx this time. Good activity. G0GDU Ft1000 - 10w into w3dzz @ 26ft agl G0GFQ Lost video on my monitor in middle of contest so had to reboot which seemed to take an age! G0OKF Bad start for me - own fault not properly prepared. Conditions good G0ORH Great condx for a change. K3/100 DIPOLE. G0RAF Considering G3VCA is only 5 wavelengths away, never heard or worked him. Fair conditions in the evening though. G3GLL Conditions better this time ! G3HRH Very busy with both G and EU strong signals Good to hear plenty of activity above 3550 G3JRM very good conditions inter-G this evening so somewhere near to a personal best for me apologies for the decidedly dodgy keying at times (frozen fingers) G3KNU Great conditions for a change nice to crack the ton. G3LDI Quiet band lots of activity few key clicks = lots of fun! QED G3LET Excellent conditions so tried my luck with QRP for the first time. After sweeping up some of the big sigs I found I could actually RUN! No sign of a fall-off at the end this month. Thanks to all for the QSOs. G3LHJ High actitity - condx very good an enjoyable hour & a half cu in the next one G3LIK Unfortunately my FT101ZD lost power after 30 minutes so had to go QRT Conditions seemed to be good Good to have SD for logging G3MXH Maintained a steady rate throughout. Conditions quite good. G3OLB Fast going tonight! Conditions stayed good for the whole session. G3PDH Made a nice change for propagation to be favourable in this eastern area. G3PHO FB contest this time and managed to run all through except for last QSO. Spring condx are coming .. whoopee! G3PSM Took the 80M dipole down for the 160M test and used the vertical - bad idea - my signal obviously getting outside of the UK but real problems with UK stations G3RCV/A The contest coincided with a Cray Valley RS meeting so we organised a 'CW night'. Club member G3ZRJ who now lives in Hereford came on and worked a few members outside of the contest including George G3BNE who as a VHFer was delighted to make his first QSO on 80m for 60 years! After the CW ragchews we had 21 minutes left to put some contest QSOs in the log. Members were impressed at how easily CW got through and we hope for some more recruits to the mode. G3RMD First ever cw contest----good fun G3TKF What a difference conditions make! G3TLH Very good conditions this time G3VCA A enjoyable contest - lots of patient stations and many more from the continent G3VIP RIG IC7000 10W - 40M LW - Homebrew logger Had good run managed to hold a freq with QRP G3VMW Conditions good and a nice steady pace. G3WRR Conditions seemed quite good - fair amount of long haul stuff. Many signals strong enough to override the local noise (and therefore workable!) G3WVG Great conditons ..good uk skip and low noise. 100W dipole at 20M G3YHV Great conditions at last ! G3YMC Enjoyable contest good conditions low noise. But activity seemed a bit down with some of the regulars missing. G3ZGC/A Rig IC775DSP set to 10w to dipole up 50 ft. Thanks G3LLK for loan of QTH. Conditions seemed excellent. The band also seemed full. G3ZRJ Sorry but very qrl with xyl health probs so couldn't do whole 90 mins. Glad to give out some points G3ZVW Conditions much better tonight for inter-G QSOs. G4ABX Conditions Not too bad this evening but 4" snow in Leicestershire! G4AIU Late start G4ASR 'T' antenna 90ft vertical 500ft top worked very well G4DDL Average Conditions with long bursts of wideband noise here. I missed some calls down in the noise which was s7 with me sorry! G4DDX Conditions very much better. Changed my aerial from windom to my old G8KW trap dopole which seemed to be much better I no longer had to wait till the and of queue to be heard which is shown by my better score I used SD for logging as always. G4DJX Really enjoyed first time in this contest G4EDG First outing for my homebrew rig in CC worked quite well! G4ELZ Enjoyable G4FAL Conditions seemed pretty good G4FKA Much better. First time this year the band has been open for the full 90 minutes. Long may it continue! G4FNL Antenna problem possibly cost me some points Thanks as ever to everyone for the QSOs G4FON When the conditions are right even a dipole folded into a 48 by 25 foot garden can provide a decent score! G4FPH Have never used my power meter on the 20w range before! G4GZB Enjoyed the giving of points to others more desperate G4IUF Much better condx tonight inter G and also Eu G4LMW Excellent conditions. Heard a few deliberate QRMers on the band. 10w/Orion/Dipole at 30ft G4LWB Snowing noisy G4TSH 10w dipole at 50ft G4WUG Conditions improving all the time and looking good for a bit of sport next month. Some very good scores around this time. G4ZFE First Good conditions of 2010. Good for inter-UK as well as Europe. K3/100 to Dipole at 35 feet. G7DDN Seemed to be lots of activity tonight - the band seemed pretty crowded. An enjoyable evening as always, though there seemed to be quite a few defective keying devices around which were making dots and dashes merge into one very long dash and thus unreadable (to me anyway!) G8CKT First time on CW! |
