M0MGF Nice Software M0NKS Very noisy tonight M0NNH Yet another great contest a shame about deliberate QRM M0RBE Lot of QRM M0RBG Lots of qrm tonight M0RSD first time in and be back next time. M0SCG The contests are getting better every month and a pleasure to take part in. MM and MW were fairly good they have been area's I have struggled with. M0TUB Oh so noisy!! M0VAA Peculiar conditions, almost auroral at times. M0XDX I started 25 mins late but luckily found a clear frequency straight away! Good conditions again. M5ALG Too much QRM at this location Impossible to pull anything out for the 1st 30 minutes M6MDO This is the first contest that I have entered! MM1AVR first contest MW0CVT Typical 80M conditions for me, very noisy but cleared 10 minutes from the end. ON3ND Very small log today... PA0MIR After reaching the 50 QSO mark decided to stop operating in these very noisy conditions. Hope this will be better next time. 73 to all and bcnu PA3EYC Very hard for a dutch station with only 100W and wire dipole. SE5E Thanks again for a nice contest! SM5CSS Elecraft K3 100w to a Dipole |
SOAPBOX: 2E0CBS S9+10 from my QTH - lots of activity 2E0GVC Noise on band was horrific during contest 2E0KLP sorry, FT-897, for this improvised aerial 2E0TYC 50w and basic aerial thanks to all who were patient with me. F/G8CKT Yet another slow start - tried running but soon gave up! G0AAA FT1000MP (100W version) + Dipole at 70ft. G0AJJ Good fun but very noisy. Tnx to all for points. G0DAY What a noise and also a lot of idiots playing around I do not now why I bother with SSB G0EYR The band was fine till abt 20.15 then dropped out G0FYX A very busy band. G0GDU Excellent condx for 1st hour skip lengthened and much noisier in last 30 minutes G0ICJ Good conditions but as usual a lot of noise G0KYS/P A casual effort whilst in Norfolk. Dipole. G0LHZ QRM QRM QRM and some QRM G0MTN 90 minutes of listening to the usual QRM and people occasionally being rude to non-contesters. G0PEB Good fun very busy. G0VGS Great night. Noisy band but some huge signals G3GHS fun G3HRH Very difficult conditions in Cornwall. Much EU qrm Inter-g improved at around 21.00 G3IZD Band chock full of QRM and noise requiring me to ask many repeats thus slowing scoring noticably. I do wish that the less experienced would not pass the exchange until receipt of their call is acknowledged this often results in a non-QSO G3LDI QRM from anti-contesters is getting worse. G3LHJ Hardest struggle so far very hard to penetrate the wall of Qrm from down here the top end of the band was much better wish I found out that earlier but still very noisy. G3LIK Lot of stations on this evening with some very loud and obviously running more than the 100 watts maximum allowed in this contest which is off putting on SSB as they spread too much G3MZV My first ever SSB contest and the way I feel right now it is probably my last. It's no where near as profesional or as slick and efficient as the CW contests. G3NFB Tough going with QRP G3NKS Hard going! G3OLB Excellent conditions to the South-West tonight. One long run except for the last 10 minutes of S&Ping. G3PHO Difficult reception condx during first hour due to deep QSB and high noise/QRM level. Had 12dB of attentuation in on the FT950 and bandwidth down to 1.8kHz. Apols to the weak stations who called and I did not reply to. Went S&P after 2000z and heard some big scores (180+) so felt rather deflated! 100ft doublet at 30ft apex seemed to work OK this time after a bit of trimming during the week. G3SVD This time I chose to move away from the part of the band I have used in the past topwards the top 3762 to be precise. That was HUGE mistake after 40 minutes I was attacked by a gang of continental stations QRMing me and trying to get me to move in this they eventually succeeded. G3SWC A real struggle on QRP! G3TBK Once again the Band was absolutely packed! Good to have so much support from Europe. FT1000mp 100w to dipole at 55 feet G3TXF 80m was bursting to the seams with huge SSB signals. At times it was hard to hear anything in among all the splatter! G3VCA good conditions - spoilt a little by deliberate jamming. Crowded and continental QRM as usual. Icom 756pro111 & 550ft delta loop in the clear. G3VCQ Very good inter G condx tonight but a very very noisy band! Tried hard to go on the run but not much chance on keeping the frequency for long so mostly S&P. G3VIP RIG IC7000 10W - 40M LW - Homebrew logger What a struggle with genuine QRP G3VMY Very bad so I quit early. Sorry about that. G3VPW Always a struggle finding a clear frequency to run with if you wait until the contest begins. Heard one stn have two contacts before 19:00 UTC G3ZBU Back to the FT990 though next time I may put the FT-501 on to compare the front-ends! Reasonably low noise floor possibly due to the family next door being away during the session. G3ZGC Very noisy and too many stations on tonight for any chance of doing well from this QTH QRP. Rig IC7700 set to 10w. Antenna 132 ft wire wrapped into 55 ft garden. G4ABX Good contest lots of QRM G4DDX Once again very busy very noisy and unable to find space to run untill the last few minutes. Very enjoyable. G4EBK Good conditions to UK continentals not as strong as last time. G4FAL My laptop seems to take 10 mins to boot up so no time to look for a frequency to call on. Nice to hear a few new callsigns. G4FKA Rapid start on the run frequency then a kind soul started up less than 1kHz away and it was time to search and pounce. Band packed end to end. G4FNL Hard going with propagation not favouring me for this contest. Lots of QRM as usual. Thanks to everyone for the QSOs. Rig FT1000MP + 80m horizontal loop at 35ft G4IGN What a lot of noise!! and SOME very strong signals??? G4IUF What a good night - nonstop traffic G4KNO Good fun. Need to find a spot before the start! G4LWB Frenetic early on G4RCD Trio TS-930S at 100 Watts out 130' doublet fed with open wire feeder at max. 40' G4VUD Plenty of noise as always just have to take it easy and pick them off as they come out of the noise G4WUG Thats another shouty contest gone! Thanks for the points (And the patience) G6UBM Computer crashed and ended up logging on paper lost track of numbers & inserted 2 dummy qsos need full contest band too crowded nowhere to call people still calling qrz? And no callsign G6XOU My first go at a contest. Enjoyed it a lot G6XRL Steep learning curve G7DDN A cacophony of noise! Time to improve the CW skills and find somewhere more peaceful... like RoPoCo!!! G7SHG good contest very noisey, thanks to all stations 73 G7SKR Much QRM. Busy. Fun. G8BUN The time just flew by G8HXE Think I need a better antenna ! GM3VTY started slowly then someone switched the band on GM3ZBE These SSB contests just give me a headache - what a racket ! GM4BRN My first attempt at an 80M CC contest! GW3KDB FT1000MP 100Watts Doublet at 45ft. GW4BLE Not quite the evening for QRP hard work to make the Qs. Heard several others I *should* have worked but not hearing me. I think all entrants should submit their logs with 24 hours - if not 24 minutes even - of the contest. GW4BVE Nice to hear more M3 and M6 stations. Antenna improvements seem to be successful. M0AAA Some big signals on the band. Lots of QRM. Still good fun though. M0CUL/P A rare excursion onto 80m usually using the G8 on VHF! Fun though.... M0DOL Another Great contest a shame about deliberate QRM caused M0GXB Second ever SSB contest. FT101 (early) driving 6m dublet 5m AGL (in loft) QRM at S9+20dB - worst to date M0JMO Better conditions than the last time I took part! Hope to catch you on the air again soon! M0LUV Band was in good condition but late starting again M0MDF Quite Noisy and QRM from Amateurs on 3575khz berating us 'Contesters'. No callsigns were used ! |
