G4WUG Good game again. Thanks for the points (and the patience!) Never mind Chris must try harder!
G4ZFE First time using fldigi with N1MM. A great combination. K3/100 to dipole at 35 feet.
G7DDN PSK
seemed busier than usual tonight but conditions were strange. Some
stations seemed VERY loud and others were hardly visible on the
waterfall! How odd!
G8CKT Better than last time but PSK much slower then RTTY!
M0AAA Started 30 mins late. Gave QRP another try only 2 in 30 mins. I went to 100w for last 30 mins. Hard going. I had one station tell me to turn my RIT down. I am not sure what he was talking about. One day I will get the Data sorted.
M0CNP Hard going tonight with constantly changing skip Thanks everyone for their patience and points
M0NKS personal best score on data to date . not much noise on band tonight at this location
M0RBE Bad night laptop playing up again.
M0RYB Click. Pop. Smoke. End of contest. Only question is how big the hole in the wallet will be...
M0TDW Slow start, PC froze twice, sri if you were on the recieving end. Enjoyed the contest.
M1ADX RTTY a delight. PSK challenging, I know there has been much comment about PSK suitability for contests but it does test us all!
MM0BQI Great
fun testing out the new 80m Inverted L for use in the IOTA
contest. Seemeed to work well using 12m SpiderPole and 8 x 20m
radials on the ground. Band seemed in very good shape for the hour or
so I was on. K3 running 50w to the Inverted L, all located down by the
seaside! Thanks for the Qs.
MM1HMV Is everyone deaf??
PA600MIR Hope
everyone got my special call right this time. Will be used also in the
september month too. However it would be nice if overseas stations
would be scored like in the CW and SSB psrts now with the increasing
participation

SOAPBOX:
G0GDU Have come to the conclusion that s&p on PSK when QRP is
a waste of time (2 Qs in 24 minutes!!) everytime the station I called
always picked up another (QRO) station. Why not split data into 2 contests. Heard 2 very wide signals on PSK and some strange long winded exchanges on RTTY.
G0IBN getting better
G0PEB Good fun on 80m.
G3HRH Very good conditions
G3LDI I had the same noise again but 18dB of attenuation RF well back
G3LET Still unable to get any response to calls using PSK. Hard to know what could be wrong as it worked fine before. Some signals a little watery later on.
G3LHJ Condx much better tonight activity high on both modes. but not so heavy as the SSB & CW sessions.
G3ORY I
had difficulty gaining sync on PSK with some stations who sent very
short calls. If the signal does not lock up straight away it takes me
about 10 secs before I realise it isn't going to. I then need to tell
the AFC to hunt around a bit more and wait to see if the signal then locks up. By this time those sending a very short call have stopped sending and it is QRZ? from me!
G3PDH A struggle with lots of QSB and long skip condx.
G3PHO Slow
start but managed to find a run frequency for an hour or so. Still the
odd op who is miles off frequency... there's no time to use RIT in a
datamodes test! Once again I didn't bother with PSK.
G3TBK FT1000MP 100w to Dipole at 55 feet Surely
there is now enough data activity to run two events one for each
mode. I don't think tactics come into it it's just a lottery.
G3TJE 1st data contest!
G3TLH PSK
even worse than shouting into a mic for 90 mins so stuck to RTTY again.
Send Morse on paddle key and out comes FSK RTTY - just like working CW.
This is fun but I refuse to use PSK in a contest ever again! Please
drop it next year.
G3TXF These 80m DATA CCs are the
only contest where I regularly spend more time trying (and mostly
failing) to set up my RTTY/PSK before each contest, than the actual
operating time in the contest!
G3VCA Clear signals
without too much QRM -- PSK still a pain to work. Please can we revert
back to the old data scoring of a couple of years back. 550ft delta
loop here @ 40ft & ICOM 756pro111
G3VIP RIG IC7000 10W - 40M LW - Homebrew logger PSK - WA0TTN VERSION OF PSKCORE.DLL(Tks Dave & Moe(AE4JY)) RTTY - MMTTY ENGINE - FSK (Tks Mako JE3HHT) Good condx managed to hold a freq on RTTY with genuine 10w. Please ditch PSK enough is enough!!
G3WVG I thought I'd try an all PSK entry tonight just for "fun". My conclusion is that a PSK contest is like a headache. Great when it's over.
G3XYF Psed to hear stns above 3600
G3ZBU plenty
of action tonight so very enjoyable. I used MMVARI and generated the
cabrillo header with SD. Not quite as many qsos as last month ;-(
G4ABX Busy night!
G4EBK Would still prefer a wholly rtty contest or a wholly psk one.
G4FKA High noise at start made copying RTTY difficult. More success on PSK.
G4IUF Very busy tonight, but higher score.
G4LMW First time with the K3. Much better. Now to sort out a better antenna............
G4OBK Really enjoyed the session - thank you.
