What a terrible night's propagation .. the worse I can remember.
Out of the 18 in the log 9 were local Sheffield
stations and apart from G3PDH & G3KLH all the rest were in Continental Europe.
SM5CSS was knocking them off in fine style! Well we must press on and
try again next month!
G3PYC
So few stations!
G3RCM
Very poor conditions and a very high RX noise level plus QRM from club members
in the room:
G3SNU
lets cheer up-it can only get better!
G3TBK
DIABOLICAL! G Stations went from S9+20 to zilch 20 minutes before the start.
I will miss the next 3 due to being in J8. Pity I hadn't gone already!
G3TKF
One of the noisest contests ever ... and virtually no stations!
G3TXF
The inter-G black-out lasted the whole 90 minutes here. Five miles
on groundwave was about the limit for a decent G QSO. Most other UK
stations were largely inaudible. Was this the worse inter-G conditions
for an 80m CC ever?
G3UJE
FT1K Field + Dipole / Vertical Loop. Hard grind.
G3VCA
Worst 80m ssb contest ever. G stations in or just
above the noise with qsb & qrm skip long throughout.
Dl & iz's 59 +20. 550ft delta loopicom 756 pro 111
G3VDB

Conditions so poor gave up after 45 minutes.
G3VTS
Band awful and Plasma TV next door did not help
G3VUS
band condx were dreadful and only long skip and local within 30 miles could be
heard. In a sparsely populated part of the country that was not many!
G3WWT

a ball!
G3YHV
Soapbox: dreadful conditions only g stations were locals !

Someone hit the propagation 'off' button 10 minutes in.
G4ABX
Hopeless conditions
G4CYG
Applalling conditions
G4DYC

Either by CQ or search and pounce.
Enjoyable as always.
G8CKT
Hardly any signals heard this time!
G8FCQ
This was my personal worst !
Last time I got such a low score on CC SSB was operating close to Nigel G3TXF,s
