GW0GEI
First time out in a sprint for me so it was a steep learning curve - not helped
with using 160m dipole at 30ft either!
GW4BLE
Loud German speaking stations seemed to be taking part in their own contest?
M0NKS
This is an interesting contest I enjoyed this evenings dip into a new contest .
M0XDX
Very enjoyable again more activity tonight but why was nobody above 3.7MHz?
MW0RZC
much qrm and qsb
PA0MIR
Was invited to join Ossett ARO which I gladly do for the fun. Sprint is a nice
form of contesting but today the local German contest put a stick in the wheels
and made the band very crowded so had a hard job getting to 50 QSO's. |

SOAPBOX:
2E0MDO
My first attempt at the Sprint contest
G0AAA
This contest is 30 mins too long
G0AZE
only lower half of band
G0FYX
Seemed a busy band mostly on the lower segment
G0MTN
40 QSOs in the last 25 minutes QRV made this feel like a real sprint. Perhaps 60
minutes total duration next year?
G0PEB
Good fun on 80m
G0VOF
Good fun tonight
G0VOK
Lots of activity and qrm but great fun.
G3HRH
Very poor conditions in Cornwall
Inter G only opened up around 21.00
Very noisy most of the time
G3LHJ
Not so many on tonight condxs good - good fun.
G3LIK
Lot of stations causing QRM by using big stations
The high frequencies seemed to have a German
contest active
G3OLB
Good fun again. Did anyone actually use the upper band segment?
G3TXF
Tried QRP (10w) for the first time in a Sprint. Didn't make too much difference
overall.
G3VPW
Good going but only used one frequency above 3700Khz
G3VYI
Activity less in last 30mins
DL stations also in test in band
Noise at S7 here! Missed some weak ones.
G3ZGC
This was aweful.
At the start I had many QSOs ruined by others just stealing the frequency when
in QSO.
But then it quietened down.
Rig IC7700 set to 10w to 132 ft of wire wrapped into 55 ft garden.
G4ABX
Tough evening with lots of qrm
G4FAL
No contacts above 3.650
G4GZB
A little noisy here but enjoyable!
G4LMW
Wasted half an hour on 10W then gave up and had to resort to 100W!
G4SJX
activity seemed low
G4VUD
Coinciding with a DL activity night was a bit
different filled the band up though scores were
not as high as normal. SD worked well as always
G8FMJ/P
VERY crowded, otherwise OK |
