The Super League rewards societies who field teams operating both above and below 30MHz: the winning society will have consistently achieved high places in all of the events, without necessarily winning any one of them. A new trophy was donated by the Hadley Wood Contest Group in 2013, for the winners of the Local Category in the Super League. To encourage clubs to enter in all eight contests, the Contest Committees award a Certificate of Achievement. This requires a certain amount of organisation in finding members with a variety of locations and skills, but is a reachable goal for an active club. |

The results of eight AFS
contests contribute to the Super League: (a) 70MHz Affiliated Societies Contest September 2024 (b) 50MHz Affiliated Societies Contest October 2024 (c) RSGB Club Calls Contest (1.8MHz AFS) November 2024 (d) 144MHz Affiliated Societies Contest December 2024 (e) 3.5MHz-7MHz CW Affiliated Societies Contest January 2025 (f) 3.5MHz-7MHz SSB Affiliated Societies Contest January 2025 (g) 3.5MHz-7MHz Data Affiliated Societies Contest January 2025 (h) 432MHz Affiliated Societies Contest February 2025 The members of a club's team or teams need not be the same for each contributing contest. |

| 3. Calculation |
The position of the Team or Club listing for each Affiliated Society
entering any of the eight
contributing contests will be normalised to produce Super League Points
(SLPs), which are then added together to produce an overall SLP score.
The normalisation is carried out according to the following formula,
with the result rounded to the nearest integer: SLP = (N+1-P)*1000/N where N is total number of teams in the results table, and P is the position of the team in the results table. For example, if there are 50 teams entering the event (N=50), the team in first position (P=1) would receive 1000 SLPs. The team in 50th position (P=50) would receive 20 SLPs. The team in 26th position (P=26) would receive 500 SLPs Where a single club has more than one team entering any of the eight AFS contests, only the SLPs from the club's top-scoring team for that contest will be included in the Super League table, contributing towards the overall Super League score. Please note that the allocation of entrants to teams, in cases where a club enters more than four stations in a contributing contest, is carried out automatically by Contest Committee software. |

| 4. Results | The winner of the Super League is the club with the highest total of SLPs at the end of the eighth contributing contest. The maximum possible SLP score (if a club won all eight events) would be 8000 SLPs. A running SLP total will be provided on the Contest Committees' web site after the scores for each event are published. | |||

The winner of the Local Category in Super
League will receive the Hadley Wood Contest Group Trophy.
Certificates will also be presented to the Affiliated Societies achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Local and General Categories in the Super League. A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to any Affiliated Society which enters a team in all eight of the AFS contests in the Super League, and where its score in each one is 250 SLPs or more, that is, where it appears in the top three quarters of each AFS contest table. |
